Both were difficult to use because the dough stuck to them and both broke after two uses in one case and 4 uses in the other. The metal parts were flimsy and had razor sharp edges that served to catch and chew up the dough passing through the rollers. Truly Chinese rubbish - and neither cheap - also although different "makes" they had a nasty smell of oil. I then bought a Mercato machine for use in our Italian holiday house and never looked back. During lockdown fancying some decent fresh pasta I ordered this Ampia machine. It works like a Rolls Royce. The section to make futtucine and "spaghetti" is built in and not detachable unlike some models by the same manufacturer. This means you cannot slot in other attachments for other shapes but this didn't bother me. The dimensions in the drop down menu on the desertcart order section are not correct. The machine is not anywhere near that big. Look further down in the product description and you will see the correct sizes which are those of a normal domestic machine.
