These were recommended to me by a friend and they didn't disappoint. The packaging looks a little cheap and tacky and I was a bit worried when they arrived as the box had been crushed, but they are really good quality.I would call myself an intermediate sewer. I make clothes and masks and create my own patterns, but I don't sell items or do this as a paid job. I usually use my rotary blade as I prefer this to scissors, but with these, they are flat along with the bottom handle which makes it easy to lay the fabric out flat and glide across the table with them without having to lift up the fabric too much or distort the pattern you're cutting.Would recommend

These draper's scissors have nice well set blades 5 inches long and an overall length of 10.5 inches. The cut is good cutting even thin cellophane with no hint of it snagging. The blades are secured by the pivot pin as well as a rivet through from the handle. These scissors do function very well but are rather let down by rough edges on the handles, not dangerous but certainly uncomfortable to use. I suppose lack of finish is to be expected as at under £7 for a pair of scissors with such a good cut there are bound to be compromises but if you want a pair to use every day spend a little more

Kitchen Scissors, a tool in your house that you use so often but never really give much care towards. Labels, packaging.. Pizza? These are brilliant and I'm so glad I bought them. They'll actually be worth the effort of sharpening because they're solid and dishwasher safe.No more cheapo scissors in my house! Thanks!

These scissors are really good. I bought them for a small DIY craft project and they were perfect. They cut cloth and fabric like a boat cuts through water. They honestly just glide through the material. 10/10.
