BLISS But must mention the box!
I took delivery of this today. The plan is to use it as a full time permanent single bed, placed on a standard single bed frame. I have yet to purchase the frame, as Im currently testing this for air-hold ability. (IT FAILED - see update below)So, It gets delivered in a very hard, tight dense cardboard box -- the type of wrapping that you KNOW you will never fit bed back into if need to return!Im going to raise an important point here - the box is industrially sealed down with permanent glue. I looked and discovered no flap. The only possible way was to use an implement to cut the box. I prised away using a closed non-pointy scissors. When I eventually got it open, the box looked like it had been chewed by a dog - absolutely crazy - the inside has inflatable fabric that can be easily torn if I had slipped or used a knife...yet box very difficult to open! why coudn't they use a tongue flap with tape seal? When I got it out, I said 'Phew' and this is when the fun starts!!Unrolled Aerobed, plugged in, it inflated with the turn of a switch (USA seem to love big clunky plastic switches/dials that resemble UK cream lucite 1970s phones)When inflating it sounds like a vacuum cleaner - louder than a hair dryer, the inflation is very fast.First time lying down... WOW. Bounced a bit.. WOW. I feel like im floating! Decided it was a little too soft, so inflated some more... Its fantastic that you can adjust to suit your exact comfort. The dial will also deflate little by little too.The smell, very very subtle. Beach Lilos smell stronger of rubber IMHO. The material is very smooth, like puppy dog ears, micro velvet feel, the colour is very subtle, powdery light grey/blue. Very appealing. The Whoosh! deflate flap opens and the aerobed is virtually flat in seconds. Was tempted to try whilst lying on it, but didn't want to bang my face on the floor (its that quick)To sum up, it would be a great shame to take this outdoors, even though it has a fantastic carry bag with comfortable shoulder strap.A very good buy.I will sleep on it for 2 weeks and then post an update. The drawback is that I know I won't want to get out of Bed!!!**** UPDATE FEB 2013****Sadly this bed when put on my single frame lost its air time after time, so had to be returned. Such a shame as it was very comfy on first inflation

Our old one laster 15 years! Obvious choice for me!
I recently bought this due to our old Aerobed coming to the end of its life; don't be sad though, that crazy little airbed lasted around 15 years and I think that's pretty damn good! The obvious choice was another Aerobed and I got this one on a Prime Daily Deal at a lower price so it was a win all round. The bed itself seems sturdy and is very comfortable to sleep on. It is fantastic for travelling as once it is packed away it is very compact and portable. The bed inflates quickly and seems quieter during inflation than our previous model. It also seems lighter than our old one which is always a positive.Ours goes away with us when we are visiting family, primarily for my little boy to sleep in (he is 4) and it is fine for him, I have also slept in it and can confirm it is pretty comfortable. It does make a little noise on movement but once you are asleep that doesn't matter anyway. It is very easy to inflate and deflate and takes barely any time at all.I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an extra sleeping space

Good Quality, Quiet and Very Easy to Use
Bought two of these and have used them alot. They are very easy to put up and inflate in less than a minute, they are very comfortable as you can adjust the air in/out to suit your needs, they make very little noise when you turn over in the night (unlike many other blow up beds that I have used in the past!) and they are surprisingly compact when deflated (as you can use the pump to suck all the air out and roll them up into the storage bags provided).Happy with the quality and expected the same given the price - as they are a little more than I wanted to spend. However, well worth it. I certainly hope they last (only had them a few months so far). They are slightly bigger than most inflatable beds that I have used in the past so check the size when inflated before you purchase.

Great at the start!
Really good and very comfy despite being very noisy. Very easy and quick to inflate and deflate and packs away easily. However, after only using it for 5 nights, started to deflate and now unable to use and trying to find how to get a replacement from Amazon

Quick, comfortable and compressed
This is a great item to have if you sometimes have guests over but no real space to put them. When it's packed away it will easily fit into a cupboard somewhere until you need it. When you do have a guest coming over, simply plug it in and switch it on and it will be inflated a few minutes later. It's comfortable for one, and though it is big enough for two you may find that it's a little bouncy during the night if someone is turning over. However, as it's probably not going to be used for a permanent bed that shouldn't really be a concern. To pack it away is also very simple...just open up a large flat at the opposite end to where the power controls are and the air comes whoosing out ready for you to start rolling it up and putting back in the bag. This version seems much lighter than one of the same brand/style I borrowed from a friend 5 years ago, so it's good to see improvements have been made in the power size and weight. On my carpet after a few days it did seem to attract a lot of hair which stuck to the underside, but turning the item on it's side while inflated and giving a quick hoover cleaned it up well enough and was ready to pack away again. It probably says more about the state of my carpet than this item though :)If you want something that will spend more time in a cupboard than in use, I would definitely recommend this product.
