Great product, flawed directions! Here's are key tips needed to ensure a good installation…
They know how to do screen protectors right! The protector is clear, firm, keeps its shape, and permits the images and text to shine through, brightly, clearly, and without distortion (unlike what usually happens with anti-glare protectors). You really will not know that it’s on!You can’t go wrong getting their protector. Their installation directions, however, while generally quite good, are flawed in certain critical respects and those flaws lead to installation problems (see below, with several tips on how to install).BUNDLEYou get a decent bundle for your $10... screen cleaning cloth, hard plastic squeegee to remove bubbles, and even strips of tape to lift the protector and remove dust and lint! They include 2 protectors (which is gravy if you know what you’re doing)—and gives you a backup in case the nearly inevitable errors occur. The package is well organized, with an information pamphlet, etc.One deficiency in the bundle is that only one sheet with only a couple dust removal strips are provided. A second sheet of those would be really helpful.INSTALLATION TIPSPutting the protector on is an art and a demanding task. Set aside a good chunk of time and a time in which you are relaxed and can concentrate. Make sure that you have a bright light shining down on the iPad so that you can see the protector’s edge against your iPad. That also helps you see if there is any dust at all on the screen. Your FIRST step of all is to clean the display per their instructions! The single most important step in installing the protector takes place right at the start. As you start to stick it on, you absolutely must ensure that1. The protector’s edge lines up EVENLY *along* the bottom edge of the iPad (there will be a small gap, which should be EXACTLY the same size all along the edge) AND2. That the hole for the home button is PERFECTLY centered around it.To accomplish both things, the protector will actually be just in just a bit in from the iPad’s chamfered edge, but you will need to look along the ENTIRE edge to confirm that it’s equally distant all along the edge. It shouldn’t be caddy-cornered, or show slightly more of the iPad’s bezel at one point than another. Yes, that’s what lining up means. But it’s crucial. If you can get the protector lined up with the bottom edge (i.e., with the same indent everywhere) AND get the hole centered precisely around the home button, everything else will work like a charm.——————————————————————Believe me when I say that you need it to be EXACTLY centered-- and EXACTLY lined up with the edge. If you do that, then the rest of the installation is a piece of cake.Note: This is NOT the place for “close enough” or a time to accept small deviations. I’ll emphasize that:CLOSE ENOUGH IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH!You have to get this step right or you will definitely run into trouble with the installation. The protector will end up in the wrong position, the camera hole at the top could be covered, etc.————————————————————————————————Let me summarize the key steps:1. HAVE A BRIGHT LIGHT SHINING ON THE IPAD.2. DO THIS AT THE DINING ROOM TABLE ON A PLACEMAT. I originally advised doing this on a rug or freshly washed sheet; however, I did the 2nd one at the dining room table on a linen placemat., Worked very well. The big advantage is that you are working at eye level, not having to bend over or down in the bathroom or on a rug, which is hard on the back and hard on getting things lined up well.3. Clean the display per their instructions-- be sure you have removed ALL the dust particles. It can help to hold the device at different angles to see what' sphere.4. Then, MAKE SURE THAT THE PROTECTOR IS LINED WITH THE BOTTOM EDGE OF YOUR IPAD!Oh, right, and5. DON’T FORGET THAT THE HOLE NEEDS TO BE CENTERED PERFECTLY AROUND THE HOME BUTTON.6. SLOWLY PEEL BACK AND *APPLY* TO THE SCREEN AS YOU GO. Do this slowly or you'll end up with HUGE bubbles. If you follow these steps, your life will be good! :-)————————————————————————————————TA’S INSTALLATION DIRECTIONS—ISSUESI recommend viewing their installation video on You Tube. However, I wish they would re-film it and lose the irritating, distracting sound track. It's not soothing at all and interferes with processing the information. Here’s the rub: the most critical step in the installation process isn't given enough time and information... they glibly, casually, say line it up with the edge. This step, where you have 1-2” of the protector revealed, and are lining it up with the iPad’s edge, is, without a doubt, the most crucial step in the entire process. They need to zoom in and show what is meant, what it looks like, and emphasize its importance. Furthermore, you really need to peel back only about 2”, far less than what they show. And, then, as I note, apply it as you go.The same thing is true with their printed directions. They simply don’t emphasize how important and essential the lining up step is. They even mis-state what to do in the text directions, writing that, for tablets, you should line up the protector with the “long edge” of the device. Well, that’s impossible to do—it’s clearly the BOTTOM edge that one lines up with on the iPad.WHERE TO DO THE INSTALLATIONYou definitely want to be working in a well-lit, dust-free environment, with a bright light shining down on the iPad, so that you can tell how well the protector is lining up. It can be hard to see! This is another of those things to truly pay attention to. Otherwise, you will run into problems. PREVIOUS HINT--IGNORE: Get the light, even a desk lamp, placed on the floor or rug where you will be working, and set that up first. HERE'S WHERE TO DO THIS : Had much better luck the 2nd time at the dining room table. JUST WATCH THE FOOD CRUMBS!Contrary to Tech Armor’s advice—and what you’ll see around the net—do NOT do this is a bathroom where there's moisture that could get into the iPad, at least not post-shower!! Instead do it on a dining room table, but keep the iPad in front of you, on a placemat and be careful so it doesn't fall off!!DISASTER STRIKES ON THE INSTALLATIONAlas, in my first effort, my lining up with the edge and home button hole was slightly off and that meant that when I peeled off the rest of the backing, and finished applying the protector, the protector was slightly a-kilter and the Facetime camera hole at the top was not centered well! A re-application attempt--well, several to be honest—did not succeed--and the protector ended up with up several bits of dust and lint on it. (I was doing this in a bathroom, too!) (Working on a hard tile floor is not fun.)Frustrating, for sure. It means you see several bubbles under the protector, and with the iPad turned on, you can see several lint strands. It looks as if you could brush them away, but they’re under the protector!I was able to remove some with the dust strips, but soon ran out of those. Plus, as I lifted the protector up a ways, new lint got under the protector! For now, we’re leaving it on.SUGGESTION FOR TECH ARMORI highly recommend that Tech Armor produce a couple of product-specific installation videos-- especially for the best-selling tablets such as the iPads and iPad minis. That way, users could see exactly what it meant about lining things up PRECISELY with the home button and the bottom edge. Such a video would show how to NOT do it, i.e., part of the video should show what happens when the initial lining up step isn’t done right!TA should also 1. Lose the irritating background repetitive “music” from their videos. 2. EMPHASIZE just how important the lining up step is in their video and text directions. 3. Redo their installations videos in HTML 5 rather than Flash. 4. Use direct links from the TA web site to the specific video. Instead what happens is that you end up at the TA You Tube channel and have to hunt again for the video you just clicked on and wanted. A nuisance!BOTTOM LINE In any event, none of these difficulties is exclusive to Tech Armor's protectors. The key thing is that their protector is excellent — clear, works well—and that TA’s bundle and effort at directions are far better than many competitors. In spite of the difficulties I ran into, I would definitely buy their protectors again. And, have several times!

Protection
Put this on my ipad that I use every day. Its been dropped, nicked and rubbed. No issue. Just make sure when you install there is no dust around or it will get trapped under the screen protector and cause a bubble.

The cutouts are perfect for the home button and front facing camera. The screen protectors cutouts are extremely precise and are perfectly cut out so the whole front screen is protected. The installation process is very easy as well. They have a video on their website on that. I followed it and installed it perfectly with zero air bubbles. The screen protector protects to against scratches so if the "screen" gets scratched you are not worried because the scratch is not on the screen, it is on the screen protector that is easily replaceable. These were one of the first iPad Air screen protectors to go on sale on Amazon. Tech Armor is fast and is ahead of the game in making new products fit new devices like the iPad Air. I am really liking these screen protectors!I have been a long time customer of Tech Armor. Since 2011. I have many of their screen protectors for various devices. I have the Tech Armor screen protectors for my iPhone 5, iPod Touch 5, iPad 1 and now my new iPad Air. My parents also use them. My mom has them for here iPad 3, so to add a Galaxy S4 and my dad has them for his iPad 2 and Galaxy S3. They love them. All of these screen protectors have a lifetime replacement warranty. That means you can get free replacements at any time. Before I got my new iPad Air I actually asked for replacements just in case I fail with the first 2 as larger screen protectors are more difficult to put on perfectly. I am that kind of person who likes the screen protector to go on perfectly with zero bubbles. When I contact Tech Armor I ask for replacements and they reply back eagerly wanting to send you a replacement pack, free of charge, and ask for your Amazon order number for proof of purchase. I reply back with that information and within a few hours they reply back to confirm your address and what they are sending. I confirm it and a few hours later I get an email with a tracking number. This is what customer service should be. This only took a day to do. The replacement pack consists of the same exact things you get with the package you bought. Other companies take a few days to get a reply back most of the time and some don't even offer a lifetime replacement warranty. Tech Armor is taking customer service to a whole new level. The price of these screen protectors are extremely cheap as well. I have a bunch replacements from Tech Armor. I share them with friends and family because I know I can always get more when I want to literally. I have literally 10+ replacement packs for my iPhone 5. Getting another soon because I can! Best screen protector for IPad I have found / used.
This screen protector is superb. So easy to install without any bubbles - if I didn't know I had a screen protector it is that good you can't tell. The instructions are so clear and easy to follow and the dust remover is an excellent addition to an already comprehensive kit. Finger marks wipe off in a second with a soft cloth / spectacle cloth and it is protecting the screen from scratches, exactly what I required. The protector fits well and does not hamper my new Apple smart cover. Although a little more expensive than some it is, in my opinion, well worth the cost - it goes on first time and is spotless. Delivery was excellent - I would definitely recommend this item.

Easily the best screen protector I have ever used
Purchased for my iPad Air and all I have to say is what an exceptional product! Easily the best screen protector I have ever used, and from memory the only ones I have used that have not left any of those tiny hard to remove air bubbles left behind. So easy to put on with the step by step guide (as well as the link to the videos on the website). At first I did have some little bubbles caused by dust/lint and I was considering returning them. However, the video on the Tech Armour website soon showed me how to remove these with the enclosed stickers. I now have an iPad screen completely clear! Anyone worried that they may affect the clarity of the screen also needn't worry, I honestly can't tell I have something covering the screen unless I look at the home button or front camera. Purchase these over any other screen protector on the market, they're certainly worth paying that little bit extra!

Excellent product - I have a bubble free cover
Perfect fit for the IPad Air 2. Good job there were two covers as being a perfectionist, i wasn't happy with my first application and by the time I had lifted and replaced the first cover a few times, I felt it better to just use the second one. By this time I had worked out the best way to apply it... using the very helpful on-line installation videos, I followed the instructions however whilst setting the cover, as I pulled the first protective layer away, it was at this stage I started getting rid of the bubbles (i.e. removing the bubbles before pulling the protective layer further away). The dust removal tape was superb at catching a couple of bits that were causing bubbles on the edges and I now have a completely bubble free cover.

Well worth the purchase.
Bought this After looking around for a protective screen and after reading reviews on several different products I had decided to go with the Tech Armor option. It wasn't the cheapest and neither the most expensive but it seemed to be on par with more expensive options. It arrived within a couple of days of ordering, so I watched the YouTube reviews which is where found the instructions on fitting the screen. So I cleaned my iPad screen for ages which was probably over the top but I thought it best. Basically the screen went on first time and centered, no bubbles and it works perfectly. The screen protector feels better and is easier to use than the iPad screen itself!Had it for 2 weeks now and very happy with it.
