I bought 20 of these and they did not work. Watering them for 3-5 minutes barely helped. Had to soak for over 30 minutes just to have a bit of it rise. Would not recommend.

Soak up as rain water as pissible.
It did pretty well. Some bags soaked up more water than others did. I would use again.

Updated review - Still Not Dehydrated
It takes too long to dry out. The storm hit Tampa FL on the 9th of October. They have been placed outside in direct sunlight every day since the storm. Fully hydrated they weighed @ 30-32 lbs. Today it's the 30th of October bags still weigh 22- 24 lbs.
