These keycaps look great and let a lot of light through. They feel decent too. Wish they came in more color options.

For the price, this is a nice and complete set of pudding keycaps that allows the RGB lighting on your keyboard to really shine. I got these to replace the stock keycaps on my Redragon keyboard which has RGB lighting but for some reason, has solid keycaps. The lighting shines through much brighter with these keycaps on and installation only took a few minutes. A keycap puller is included which makes it a lot easier to do. My only real gripe with these is that the quality control could be better as another reviewer mentioned. Some of the keys are definitely less polished than the others and although not noticeable from far away, it becomes more obvious the closer you are to the keyboard. Also, for some reason, some of the keycaps stick out further than the other ones on my keyboard. Not sure if it is due to the switches that the keyboard is using or if the keycaps were just manufactured like that but definitely something to keep in mind. Other than that, these are a nice and budget friendly way to get more lighting out of your keyboard if you are not satisfied with the stock keycaps or if you just want the cooler translucent look of the pudding keycaps.

The pudding keycaps by XVX have a very good texture and allow quite a bit of light from the RGB even though they are targeted more for north facing LEDs. I like the feel of them a lot and they are not super thick construction but they do not sound thin at all. I would not say they effect the sound profile of the keyboard but they are not amplifying any thing either, in other words they are neutral at best. I used the gateron jade series yellow 3.0 switches which are linear and have 2 stage springs. The switches retained the same signature sound of the jades without any noticeable acoustic coloration from these pudding keycaps. Side note: I normally use double shot PBT dye sub keycaps which do not permit shine through at all but have a deeper creamy sound.I do like the XVX pudding keycaps and have no doubts about recommending them and if I dig out a north facing LED keyboard I'm sure I will get the full shine through that these were designed for. I only docked a star because the legends could have been more centered and prominent, then the RGB light would benefit both north and south facing LEDs alike.

If you like pudding caps, XDA profile, and don't want to spend a lot of money, then this is hard to beat. For just over $10, these are priced right for the quality and assortment. But do know that the set might not include caps for all keyboard configurations. For instance, there's only 6.25u spacebar cap- but that's probably the most common size.Some notes:- Caps are pretty thin- at about 1mm- Includes some ISO caps for European layouts.- No Mac modifier keys :(- Shine through is good, with minimal support blockage of the light- Legends could be a little larger- Typesetting of the legends is a bit off- just look at the top justification of the characters on the 'Caps' key. That just looks weird.- There's some roughness from the injection molding process on some keys- but not too bad on this set.I'd say this would be a hard pass if the price was even a little higher.
