Japanese Craft Book ~ Kisekae Dekiru wool felt doll [JAPANESE EDITION]

The instructions are not in English, but if you have needle felting experience the directions(photos) seem very clear and easy to follow. It appears as if the duck's beak and feet are made from polymer clay. Also I was wondering why the author calls them dolls... There are patterns included for bibs hat and pjs to sew from cloth or felt. The animals inluded are bears, bunnies, ducks, and a caterpillar. she includes size chart diagrams for each animal. She even shows how to glue on eyelashes and trim them. I think she uses the eyelashes that are used for bjd dolls.The animals are so adorable. They remind me of ceramics, toys, and decals on cribs from the 50's and 60's. The whimsical photos are so cute and inspiring. Wonder what the Japanese writing says about each character.

Cute. Photos show size needed for each body part & has the size in cm. So even though it's in Japanese they are makeable even for those that don't know japanese. One of the bunnies & the catapillar aren't very nice looking compared to the other bunny, bear, & duck. Has different poses you can make for the arms, legs, & also for the bunny ears so you can make a good variety.

A beautiful little book, in Japanese, but loads of pics so easy to follow most of it. Would love there to be a translation though, as Im intrigued to know what it says, lol. I make teddy bears, dolls etc, and love anything vintage or kitschy. These little creatures remind me of the toys from the 60's.Amazingly fast delivery to UK. I did choose expedited, but even so, 4 days from Japan to UK...AMAZING. Excellent all round. Many thanks.

I absolutely love this book! Even though it's not in English, the instructions are easy to follow. Even if you never make a thing from this book, it's worth it just for the darling photos! Highly recommend it to anyone who has done at least some basic needle felting. If you're a beginner, these little animals may be a bit challenging, but at least buy it for inspiration!

Very cute book, although I don’t understand Japanese, I will try to follow along with the pictures, they seem pretty self explanatory.

作りたい方には不親切な本だと思います。見るだけでいいわ、という方向けです。著者自身もブログで、模倣しないでほしいと書かれているくらいなので、作りたい人にはおすすめできないです。

Twitterで知り、購入。作るつもりは全くなく、写真集として持っていたかったので、大満足です。優しい色合いやレトロ感も魅力の作品群。どの人形もかわいいですが、目がくしゃっとつぶれた笑顔の人形が特にかわいいです。癒されます。

わかりやすかったです。ただ、ほっぺ、手足とかがどの辺につけるとか、涙型のものはどちら向けにしてつけるとかあったら、なお良かったかな？それでも全くの初心者のわりに、なかなか上手に作れたと思うので満足です。作り方の前が絵本になっていて、娘も読んであげると喜んでいます。買って良かったです。

どうやって作っているのか興味があり購入しました。もう少し詳しく知りたいところもありましたが、良い内容だったと思います。

ざっくりとした作り方ではなくて、表情の付け方、もっとこうしたらこうなる、というのを描いて欲しかったです。でも、見てるだけでも創作意欲の湧く本なので、資料としてもとてもいいです。
