Three Stars
Seems fine. Mine didn't come with the eraser marker as shown. Not sure why not.

Great for a compulsive list writer... or anyone who needs a backup for their bad memory!
I have a terrible short-term memory and attention span, and have ever since I was a kid. The public school I went to was all gung-ho on putting me on Ritalin so I could focus. So my mom asked the advice of a private school teacher who simply said, "Why don't you just teach to her write everything down instead?" Needless to say, I went to Private school from then on. I wrote everything down and, well, that seemed to do the trick without those fancy crazy-pills. My mind still goes to some fantastic places, but I can always just check my note-book for what I need to remember.Anyway, I have changed my methods over the years - notebooks in elementary school, sharpie on my arms in high school, and sometimes I even put stuff on my smartphone these days, but it can be laborious, and frankly I remember things better if I've physically written them down. But my desk was a disastrous whirlwind of sticky-notes and scrap paper, and it was a bit of a mess - not to mention a waste of paper. My friend showed me his dry-erase notebook, and I bought one immediately! His was more of a standard note-book size, but this pocket one is great for me, as I need to take it everywhere I go. If it's not in my bag, it's in my back pocket! The clear sheets inside keep the dry-erase ink from smudging, and when I'm done with a list I don't have to crumple up and throw out a sheet of paper. I just wipe off what I'm done with!I got one for my sister's birthday (She's the worst compulsive list-maker of all time), and she said it was hands-down the best gift she got this year! Highly recommended for anyone, especially people like my sister and I.

No pen was included
The notebook came with no pen. I would not have purchased this item, if I’d realized that the pen wasn’t included. A pen should’ve been included considering the price. This item was purchased as a stocking stuffer. It’s useless without the pen.

Need different covers - all and all great
Great little notebook to practice my kanji in. The pen is great starter pen. The only bummer is that the notebook comes with cardboard covers and it easily damaged by minor liquid exposure (the rain - walking from station to station) The book would be better with more liquid proof covers.

It's well constructed but ultimately it's just not as useful as I thought it would be
It works. It's well constructed but ultimately it's just not as useful as I thought it would be.

Too big for back pocket but works as described.
It is as described: about 8 pages, alternating between clear and white pages, that you can write on with the provided marker and erase quite easily. It's a bit too big to fit into a back pocket, which is a shame. I think the larger format is more useful.

Great product!
Great product and good build quality. Seems fairly durable even though it has a cardboard cover. Get Staedtler Lumocolor correctable pens. The included marker is not that good.
