Not impressed
this book is interesting; however I question parts of the meal plans. the author suggests turkey bacon as an alternative to regular bacon. He has eggs and bacon listed as multiple breakfasts a week. If one is watching BP then any bacon should be banned. All firms of bacon will have higher sodium. I also find it annoying that he did not list the sodium count of any if the recipes. I thought that was the main focus of DASH. I feel that he could have been more creative with meal plans and more thorough with recipes. Kind of sorry I bought the book.

No what I expected
I found this had recipe ingredients that were not family friendly. Things we would never choose, and too few recipes. I returned this book, and to my disappointment I was charged a restocking fee of $5.95, even having prime status, so read carefully when ordering.

Good ideas, poorly executed.
2.5 stars. It's alright, however I don't think I would recommend it to anybody. I like the recipe ideas but that's pretty much all I like about this book. There are no pictures of the food with the recipes, which I guess is not necessary but it's nice to see. The recipes are poorly written, some of them leave out or skip steps, or they are poorly worded so it's kind of confusing on what the proper step is. Also he only puts the calories, fats, carbs, and proteins for the macros for each recipe. There's nothing to do with sodium which is supposed to be a big part of this diet and he doesn't break down the fats. So, I honestly wouldn't buy this book unless you're looking for recipe inspiration because that's all it really has to offer

No ah-ha moments here
Waste of money. I learned nothing new. The recipes were okay but nothing that I haven't seen. I guess I was looking for something remarkable. Not here.

Needs proofreader
This book was OK, some good information, but a list of acceptable foods would be helpful. Also, the recipes need proofreading, a lot of typos and I think some of the serving sizes and macros are wrong. They should also include the sodium content with the recipes, since this is about the DASH diet.

Dash Diet is Excellent
The Dash Diet is recommended by the American Heart Association. It is easy to follow this book and lose weight.

Healthy diet to follow for a serious lifestyle change
This particular version is a bit older, but still tried and true. Teaching you the best way to gradually make a diet change for a successful lifestyle change for the better.
