Must have for indoor and outdoor frying
Right out of the box the label states don't try keeping it shiny it'll be a waste of your time and effort. Treat this beautiful chunk of metal like a cast iron Dutch oven. Although not casted it is made of iron, about a quarter inch thick with a smooth surface, not sand stippled like your Lodge fry pan. It's heavy to last generations. The corners are turned up to act as pour spouts so you can really pour a lot of liquid into it or from it. The handles are spring handles and they do get hot but who's going to handle this beast without hot pads. The edges are turned up as well; and this makes the bottom slightly rounded...not perfectly flat, and this allows less viscous fluids and juices to gather towards the center. I really would not use this on an induction top or glass top range because of the convexity of the bottom. Gas ranges, coals, grills, fire pits, brick pits, etc would best. This would have been great for my scoutmaster days. It's a big slab of steel, it takes some time to heat up and cool down. Use some tallow, raw edible grade flax oil, coconut oil, etc (label says not olive oil) and season it as you would a cast iron pan. I used bacon grease, worked fine. It's so useful, you could even put a smaller cutting board in it and it could catch the juices off of your pot roast. It's heavy, solid and built like a tank, you'll love it. BTW, this company has 3 other models to choose from, get the one that works for you.

Sturdy and well made but the advertised size is incorrect.
I like that is indeed well made and sturdy. Very heavy and it seems that it will last a long time. This is why I will keep it. The dimensions are a disappointment due to the fact that is incorrectly listed. As seen in the photos it is way smaller than it’s own manufacturer sticker. So make sure you only buy other accessories once you know what you get. I had to return my melting 12” dome as the width on mine is 12.5 on outside and only 11” on the cooking surface. Upon contacting the manufacturer they told me they measure the initial steel sheet used to mold it which is at least deceiving and false statement since it is clearly advertised as 14” by 24”. Mind boggling! I have never heard of such an excuse!

Solid griddle
Exactly what I was hoping for. I have a 36” blue star range oven. Fits over two burners perfect. Very heavy duty. With proper care I’m sure I’ll be passing this down to the kids. Highly recommended.Update: been using it for almost two years. Still awesome. Treat it like you would a cast iron pan. I’ve got two of them now. Highly recommended.

Honestly, the best thing i could have bought. Once you see the quality, you realize it’s a steal
I spend my nights thinking what else I’ll cook on it the next day. I am not exaggerating. It’s a supey high quality product.

Very sturdy. Used it to fry thai rice - worked great!

This is huge! And the handles pinch my hands
I think this is a quality grill, but I miscalculated the size, thinking it could make an expanse horizontally across my flex induction range. But my range doesn't work that way. The flex part only works vertically, and this grill is way too big for that. I also found the handles kind of painful and pinchy on my hands.

Not perfectly flat. Eith bad design or bad QC
Right out of the box, never been used so (I didn't warp it), the bottom is not perfectly flat so it rocks and rolls on a glass top stove. It's metal. How much QC would it take to make the bottom flat?

Great little griddle!
I bought this to use on an electric stove. It does work on the electric burners, but takes a long time to heat. So I put it on top of an old propane bbq. It's fantastic! I can't stop using it. I'm sure it would work great on a gas range. Highly recommended.
