Compression Socks for Women & Men

The quality of these compression hose are excellent! The sizing runs tru to size. I ordered 3xl just be be sure they weren't too small. They are stretchable, comfortable not too opaque. I myself will reorder--just downsize.

I recently had some vein procedures. I need to wear compression hose for 24/day for 1 month. I bought 6 different pairs, varying prices and manufactures. This pair was BY FAR the best value and fit! I wear a 18-20 jean and I ordered 3X they are very high waisted and have no inseam "sagging". I have returned all the others and ordered another pair of these!

I agree with a few other reviews on these that they don't exactly feel like compression socks - and I also agree the fabric is a little scratchier than I'd prefer, but I'm keeping in mind that they're not trying to be tights or leggings. That said - I do like these but hopefully this review might help you avoid a mistake I made. Ok: first thing's first - measure all 3 spots in the measurement guide. Don't skip this. My issue was my ankles said I should get size Large. My calve said size extra large... and my thighs said 3x. (can you see where the problem is starting to develop?) So, I wanted the closed toe kind (as you see I went with it in the pictures) but what I *SHOULD have done was got the legging version. Why? Because when I fit for my thighs, I'm losing out on the needed compression for my lower legs. I could have just sized for my thighs and threw on a pair of my knee-high compression socks to make everything good. I have to wonder if the other reviews may have fit for a specific spot, but lost out on compression for the other spots. I also am wondering if I picked up 2x if that would have been better? Because I do have compression, but I feel a smaller size would have delivered more. I think the only other issue I have is the waistband can go very high - like up to my ribcage - but it doesn't stay and likes to roll down and puts extra compression in spots that can get uncomfortable if it stays there too long. However, all that said, the fabric a step between stockings and thin leggings. It does offer compression and I'm actually impressed that I'm not having issues with the legs not being long enough (again, 6'... leg length is almost always an issue). I'll give these a try at work and see how they hold up as I'm on my feet for 8+ hours.

This was my first time purchasing compression stockings. They were comfortable, but I should have went down a size to get the full support I needed. I will be ordering again as I really liked the quality
