As for how well it works for thread cutting remains to be seen. I just hope it works as well as Rigid Dark oil which I have used for years. I will update this review once I have threaded a few pieces with it. Addendum: I used this oil in a comparative test versus another two different cutting oils that I had, one being oil, one being water soluble oil. I was running a 5/16" end mill at 1380 RPM in mild steel cutting a keyway in a shaft and the Rigid oil handily outperformed the other two. All chatter disappeared and the cut was noticeably smoother.

Right Cutting Oil for Threading Pipe at 50 rpm or less
According to Ridgid Customer Service, proper cutting oil when threading pipe less than 50 rpm. Used in Ridgid 300 threader and works great. Removes heat from pipe and die and washes shavings away. Oil is fairlly thin so be prepared with rags for clean-up.

Found this product works great and the price is reasonable.
I use the product for drilling metal and it gives longer life to drill bits. I'd order it again.
