I figured I'd been annoyed by the red FILTER indicator on my refrigerator for long enough. This 3 pack is an economical alternative to the GE brand so I thought I'd give it a try. They arrived on time and it fit like a glove. Add some water to the filter prior to replacement, it'll still sputter when you flush the dispenser, but it'll help.

It took a bit to search on Amazon, but I found replacement filters for my GE refrigerator! I had to be certain I got the right number for this GE. Easy to install too!Just be sure to keep up with the installation date. Change after 6 months or every 300 gallons. I have a digital water testing "pen", so at about 4 months I tested, it was ok. But a few weeks later I tested & it failed. I have no idea what 300 gal. means. So that is when I installed a new filter.We used a lot of water & ice. But I'm sure a family with kids might need to change at 4+ months.I will but again!

The media could not be loaded.  Bought a new house with fridge needs a new water filter. OEM being expensive, I looked for an alternative. Saw this. Having a good established review and price, I bought and subscribed. Basically, for less than $20 (3 pieces) you dont have to buy another filter for the next year and a half. The moment I changed the filter the stream of water became stronger and wter taste better.

I've been buying from a GE distributor online at $35 per filter. I find this gem and get (3) for the same price as one. The water tastes just as good. Money well spent!

I highly recommend this product! It’s inexpensive and taste just as good as a $40 water filter! People are complaining that the water taste awful, but there’s something wrong with their fridge because I think the water coming out of these filters taste BOMB!

GE refrigerator, had great difficulty installing, eventually broke tabs on filter head in fridge. $279 to repair. Tech said he replaces them fairly often and almost always because an aftermarket filter was used. Honestly looked like a poor design to me anyway (the filter head that is), but he's seen more than I have. What a bite in the rear. As much as we paid for our first fridge!

What I really liked was that I was able to purchase a 3 pack for $19.99 and get them delivered right away. I was buying a 2 pack for a little less than $50.00...AND...had trouble finding them available when I needed them. As for quality? And they are just as easy to install. Well, this is the first time that I used this particular brand. So I'm hoping that the quality is as good as the price.

The first filter started a vibration within the fridge waterline and would only allow the flow of water intemittently after about 15 days of use. Installed filter #2, it doesn't cause the vibration, however the water flow is sooooo sloooww.. 1month later it still works but you better not be thirsty cause it will be 5 minutes before your cup is full. I can not recommend these. I have used other filters to the OEM's in the past they worked fine. Will never buy these again.
