Grew fast and lush in my AeroGarden
March 2022:They all died. Most likely because they lost too much of their roots during the transition from aerogarden to soil, or just couldn’t acclimate to a non-water environment. So moral of the story - these should be started in soil.Jan 15, 2022 Follow-up:I let the plants grow a bit too big in the Aerogarden before removal to plant in soil, so lost some roots (and a bit of foliage as well :^( ). This may cause them not to thrive; we'll see. It all depends on recovery of the root system balanced with the transition to soil (which can be very taxing on a young plant birthed in a water environment). But I'm keeping high hopes. Will check back to let you know how we faired and if we end up with edible flowers. See second picture for this stage II transition.Jan 1, 22022Planted four of these in the AeroGarden - mostly experimental since there wasn't any information about whether they like wet roots... The verdict is in! They love it. See attached pic. Lush and rapid-growing. (Note that the echinacea is slower to take off than the others, but that's normal.)I plan to replant them to soil and will check back with an update... praying they survive the transition. Please note this review is just for the marigold, nasturtium, zinnia and echinacea... I haven't planted the calendula, morning glory or chamomile yet.
