Great holiday scrapbook
This was great for my 4 year old, she filled it with all sorts of objects and photos and took it to preschool to show the other children when she got back. They all loved looking at it. Highly recommend

Not great for younger children
I think this is a great idea for children aged 7 plus. It would particularly suit a child going on a holiday abroad. I took it with me on a recent caravan holiday in Wales with my 4 year old and I didn't feel it was worth completing. I have saved it until she is older and we go somewhere we can collect more scraps to stick in. It will definitely keep older children entertained as it is filled with plenty of ideas. And will be something to look back on.

Fantastic holiday scrapbook
We took this on our last holiday and my daughter loved it. Great for teaching kids to be more creative and to collect memorabilia to put inside the scrapbook. She also loved all the stickers that are included in the book. A fun and playful yet educational book.

Great scrapbook
Great scrapbook with loads of different activities. My niece took it to Cuba and enjoyed filling it with details of her adventures. The book comes with a load of stickers too, which are great fun.At the current price of £6.51, this seems like a good value for money. There are some surprisingly creative tasks to keep your child busy.

Don't love it
I've always been a fan of Lonely Planet travel journals. I have always bought one for myself when I traveled (before children), so I thought it would be nice to get one for my daughter. I liked the idea of the prompts but some of them were just not age-appropriate for her. I've included some photo samples so you can see the page prompts, I didn't think the barcode game or the robot game were great for a 5 yr old. The rubbings and leaf activity were good. However, not thoughtful. For example, if you are an Australian traveling abroad you can not bring floral and fauna, and some foods and animal products into the country. Therefore, some activities would be a no-go.As I mentioned above, there were activities that I thought weren't great. For those pages, I glued the pages together. Or we stuck photos we printed out from our holiday over them, like a collage. Besides the above mentioned, the "making art with food you are eating" was silly. Firstly, who has time to do that while they are eating, especially at a resturant? Secondly, who wants the mess? Plus it will soak through the pages and ruin the book.I think this journal would be good for a child who loves craft and art, or is much older and can work through the journal themself.I ended up buying a plain A4 book, and let her stick in pamphlets, tickets, postcards etc from our trip herself. She did her own drawings from places we visited and this journal was far less stressful and enjoyable.

and I think it's a brilliant way of getting kids to think about holiday memories
Looked through this with my son, and I think it's a brilliant way of getting kids to think about holiday memories. Lots of ideas to prompt creative processes, even as far as smearing on bits of meals (yep, really!). Looking forward to giving it a go during our summer staycation. Recommended.
