I really like the pastels and the hoops are great because as one reviewer mentioned, the tightening screw is in the middle and does not hinder the floss. Usually the floss will get caught on the screw and piece the screw tightens from, but this engineering is much better and there is nothing for the floss to get caught on. That is the biggest advantage to these hoops that I see as far as use. Liking the colors and size are secondary, but good too. I would recommend these to friends. I really like mine. I gave sturdiness a four star because they are a bit more flimsy than the regular hoops I have, but I don't see that as a problem. I have only just started using one, but it is working well. They were priced right and are good all round.

I purchased these hoops for cross stitch project. I like the smooth feel of the plastic and the variety of pretty colors, but unfortunately these hoops do not keep the Aida fabric as taut as my wood hoops do.

Arrived quickly and were just as they looked online. Great little pack for my daughter's birthday present along with other embroidery paraphernalia. She likes to give embroidery in the hoop as a gift so it can be hung up and these hoops are perfect for the job. Colours are really pretty too.

These are sturdy hoops but have a strange connector that turns both sides and is hard to manage. I wouldn't buy these again.

I have received very cool compliments about these hoops. The colors are really cool, it makes your work looks like modern or sweet. It really tenses the fabric and the screw it's kinda hidden, so I think that's nice.

These hoops are colorful and easy to work with.
