I received this yesterday, and it took me about 30 seconds before I had the device working, When I heard the sound I was absolutely amazed! It sounds like I have an orchestra in my living room. I have been using two >>>>>> speakers I purchased at Walmart which are the only ones I have ever had, and the sound from this speaker left me with my mouth hanging open. I would recommend this speaker to anyone, and I just do not see how you could do any better with more expensive speakers. Thank you Boise.

worst/muddiest sounding triangle/pyramid family speaker I have tested.
I have tried 3 different brands of this speaker: HYPE Pyramid, MOCREO, and Bolse. Although there are more that I haven't tested such as the MDN, LuguLake Triangle, Aukey, Cooligg, SoundBot SB520, and CredDeal, all of them have the exact same silver (sometimes gold) curved pyramid/triangle with passive woofers on the side. All of these brands claim most of the same things. They all claim things like a 10 hour battery life, 10 total watts from dual 2" speakers, bluetooth 4.0, HD sound, great bass, "3D" sound, and a "chip" that enhances the sound even further. If you research many of these, as I am writing this review, I don't think any of those brands have less than a 4 star review but I think many of us know that a good review can be bought with a free product or created with a lack of knowledge of competitors. I originally had the HYPE "pyramid" which was unfortunately damaged in an 7 foot fall onto concrete. I still have it and it still works but one of the speakers buzzes. Just that is enough to drive me nuts to I went on a journey to find a better and possibly cheaper HYPE. Since they all looked the same, I assumed they sounded the same. I then purchased the Bolse version, returned it, bought the MOCREO version and returned it too. I will get to my review of this speaker but I wanted to preface it with letting fellow amazoner's and audiophiles know that these speakers look the same but don't even compare. They don't sound the same, have the same name or price but share the same casing for some reason. Out of the three brands, the HYPE has, by far, the best sound quality and bass. I encourage you to stay away from the Bolse version: the more expensive, subpar sounding twin. Now for the review of the Bolse:The unit seems perfectly built; seamless corners, sturdy construction, heavy weight and expensive feeling, and no rattling. It looks fantastic. The battery life lasts all day. It gets around the claimed 10 hour battery life depending on volume level of course and can get loud enough to fill a room. Sound quality is extremely muddy though. for those of you who don't know what that means, the best way I can describe it is that it sounds like a good speaker with a blanket over it. Theres not enough treble or clarity and instruments seem to blend together. It doesn't sound natural at all. The poor sound quality can achieve the level of "decent" when you turn on the "3D" mode by holding the next and back buttons at the same time. you'll know when its activated when a green light stays on. compared to the HYPE, the bass is almost nonexistent. you can definitely feel the woofers and sometimes see them vibrating and moving which is what I think has "wowed" reviewers into good reviews (along with excellent battery life and great looks).physically, this unit is 5 stars. great quality, looks and battery life. From an audio standpoint it is, as previously stated, mediocre at best. 3 star audio quality at best. The worst of the three I have owned.I can't say that I recommend this speaker but if you value battery life don't care about sound quality that much, its not a bad speakerRyan

The sound is respectable. The real disappointment however, is the annoying buzz and crackling noise that occurs when the playback stops. I purchased this speaker as an accessory when watching/streaming movies on my laptop/projector. The sound is decent but when there is no sound from the playback, the device, which apparently is incapable of handling silence, makes horrible noises. My husband hates it and I would have returned it, if I hadn't already trashed the box & packaging.

good speaker
For the money sound quality and build quality just can't be matched. Plenty bass. That's is what you're really looking for in a good speaker. For what pay you definitely get a high quality speaker.

Very nice little speaker
This is a great little speaker. It works plugged in or on battery. It receives by bluetooth that easily pairs or by directly plugging into a headphone type jack. The sound is clear and loud.

Brilliant Bluetooth speakers.
One of the best Bluetooth speakers I've used. Sound quality is brilliant. Very easy and simple to connect to your Bluetooth device. I would definitely recommend these speakers. I use these speakers to connect to my laptop and once connected there is no need to reconnect as long as bluetooth is left turned on.
