This is nothing more than a glorified paperweight. As of 2020, 2G is officially dead, thus leaving this module unable to communicate. If you are looking for an IoT device utilizing GSM, do your research, and don't waste your money as I did.

Although GSM / GPRS is on its way out, this little module works fine for the time being. Pretty easy to use, a manual of the available commands can be found online. To add cell capacity for 15 bucks ? Awesome !
