I have a number of coffee makers that I use. Most often used for my morning coffee is an insulated French press. A distant second is a Chemex pour over coffee maker followed by a number of smaller coffee makers.I picked up this porcelain pour over coffee maker for those times when I want a single cup of coffee made with a paper filter. I do like that it’s porcelain rather than plastic. There were no blemishes or defects, and I like the shape of this with the spiral ridges. The red color is attractive and similar to what I see in the Amazon listing.There is one large hole in the bottom where the cone paper filter pokes through. This is different that some others that might have a few much smaller holes in the bottom, or the ones that take other shapes of paper filters. The Chemex style paper filters fit almost perfectly. This is a very similar geometry to a Chemex pour over coffee maker, although I needed to put a small fold in them.I ordered the larger, Size 02, and that size works well to make one large cup of coffee for me. Most of my coffee mugs are perhaps 16 - 20 oz, or maybe even slightly larger. This fits on them, although just barely. I am careful to not knock it off while brewing the coffee. It might feel a bit more secure on slightly smaller mugs.I can wholeheartedly recommend this porcelain pour over coffee maker.

We drink cold brew in our household, but we have a frequent visitor who enjoys a hot cup of coffee. I always feel bad just microwaving them a cup of our cold brew, but didn't have a way to brew them a fresh cup since we got rid of our Keurig. This ceramic pour over coffee filter is the perfect size to store away in the cabinet until our guest comes over and wants coffee. It fits either a traditional coffee filter or cone shaped filter. It will also fit both our smaller guest coffee mugs and our jumbo sized character mugs for brewing a single cup. We do sometimes drink loose leaf tea in the winter and are looking forward to using this for hot tea as well. It will be nice not to have to clean the leaves out of the tea strainer. The item was packaged well for shipping and looks to be well made. It doesn't have any rough edges like some ceramic kitchenware sometimes has. The glazed coating is also well done. It appears to be easy to rinse clean. There was no paperwork with the item that detailed cleaning instructions, but the listing says that it can be placed into the dishwasher.

works perfectly with a size 2 filter. i would prefer a smaller drain hole for stronger brew but so far it has made good coffee.

I don't always want to turn on the big coffee maker when I just want a single cup of coffee. This ceramic pour over is the perfect in between.I did worry the larger hole would send the water through too quickly, but I worried for nothing. Flow rate was decent, and the cup was delicious.I use a cloth cone filter, and the ritual of brewing with this pretty porcelain pour over is soothing, and has delivered a delicious and consistent cup every time.
