Doorstop and paperweight set
great lipstick, on a sow.Looks impressive in the marketing literature, but delivered nothing.I was an original beta backer. You will not recieve any support, zero response from emails, not chat replies, not anything thru their kickstarter portal. You will however get sunshiney claims every once in a while via a facebook or kickstarter post or the via the once in 6-9 months email.Hundreds of dissatisified buyers out there with absolutely no way to use the device.FYI, I was an android user.I refuse to be forced to buy an old iphone for several hundred dollars in order to MAYBE be able to get unusable scans from the device

Extremely well-built, but the technology itself is limited.
The hardware itself is extremely well made and designed. The software is so-so. But the main flaw is really the scanning technique itself which is very limiting. I was unable to get a single usable scan. It will only scan what the camera and laser see at the same time which in most cases is around 70% of an object, and even then it has problems with anything that is too dark, or the wrong color, or too shiny. So, and practice my scans were just a big mess with lots of holes, and not in any condition to be cleaned up to produce usable results. I ended up getting rid of it.

iPhone software completely unusable
I know Android users are mad that they are poorly supported by Eora, but I'm here to tell you that the iPhone software is useless. When I got my hardware from the IndieGoGo campaign (2 years late), I had to beta test their software to be able to use the scanner. I managed to calibrate it, but I was never able to get my scans to align. On the little screen of your phone, you are supposed to look at two of the scans you took side by side and use your finger to precisely match SEVEN congruent points on the two tiny images. I bought a stylus in hopes of being more precise, but it didn't help. With the shipping version of the software from the Apple App Store, I tried again. But I couldn't even get the software to calibrate with their calibration board. The first time I tried, my battery ran out. This thing sucks down your battery like crazy, and the way the hardware is arranged, you can't plug in your iPhone while you are using it.After I re-charged my battery to 100%, I tried again. I gave up after 15-20 minutes (and 52% of my battery charge gone). If three of the corner boxes are aligned, the other one is not. So I guess I'll never know if they improved the app for aligning your scans.Years of waiting, hours of fiddling. Not one useful scan.

This was supposed to have a working app. I ...
This was supposed to have a working app. I waited two years for the scanner hardware, which was two years late in release, and now I can't use it because there is no software for Android as promised.I understand that this is something they are working on, but you can't say you have something and sell it on that premise, when you don't!!!Update!!! I BOUGHT AN IPHONE BECAUSE THEY DROPPED SUPPORT FOR ANDROID. CANNOT GET A USABLE SCAN FROM THE IPHONE EITHER!!!!!PURE GARBAGE. NO SUPPORT! CHECK THEIR WEBSITE. SUPPORT PAGE IS NON-EXISTENT!!!!

No
Purchased when on Indiegogo claiming equal support for Android and IOS. Company was slow to updates and release. Would announce on one start-up page not the other. Limited support for Android, but full unswerving support for IOS claiming more functionality to come. Would not recommend due to known build issues. Version currently produced is different that original concept. Connectivity and hardware issues common. Mine sits on the shelf collecting dust. If I wanted a dedicated IOS product I'd get the Structure sensor which has been proven in the field for much longer.

They went out of business and we all got ripped off
I got my hardware after 3 years of waiting. The iOS app I could never get to calibrate. Now, they’ve disappeared and the app is gone on the App Store (ios14).There’s a 3rd party guy attempting to get it to work with software on Linux and Windows 10, but it’s not going to be easy.Cut your losses. Do not waste your time or money.I use mine to remind myself to steer clear of crowd funded crap.

Doesn't perform satisfactorally
Don't waste your money on this. Bought one off Indiegogo and it does not produce satisfactory scans. They do not zip together as a solid object.

Great Scanner!!
I own two and they both work great. Scanning is challenging and not easy. All the other software required to make a printable model has a steep learning curve.
