As a nutty motorcyclist, who wants to ride as long as possible into the fall, I choose layers of clothing along with heated gear like vests, gloves and sock and some specialized gear like this balaclava, to keep me warm.This protects from cold winds around the neck, upper chest and upper back and pretty much the whole head, allowing just the eyes to remain visible. The material is dense and really does work to stop the wind and provides a nice layer of insulation.One caveat; this works best if you don't wear corrective lenses. My glasses completely fogged up, so I had to open my shield, which works, but sort of defeats the purpose. So, if I'm going to use this into the fall/winter on the days that are safe to ride, I'll have to modify some what. It's also possible to pull it down, to allow your breath to move forward, not up, reducing or eliminating the fogging. I'll be experimenting with that too. YMMV.So far, I like this balaclava a lot and am glad I ordered it. It seems fairly priced for what you get and a good value. I'd buy it again.Recommended
