Disney Infinity: Prima Official Game Guide Paperback – August 18, 2013

Ordered this to get a little help on the play through games and the toy box. There is so much to do with the toy box it is a bit overwhelming so I was hoping this would help. The book is packed full of info and full color photos. What it is missing though is half the characters and game discs. Anything that was released for the game after the book was published is not in the book. I haven't bothered to purchase the updated book yet, as I don't feel like throwing my money away on something I already own half of. I wish I could at least access the updated online version or buy a discounted updated version with some kind of proof of purchase.

Perfect companion guide to the game. I bought it knowing that I'll be needing it sooner or later, and I have used it a couple times to get hints as to what to do to complete a task. It also has a list of the Series 1 Power Discs that you can check off as you get them. I've used mine to check for the ones I haven't gotten on Amazon...they were all there, listed individually for future purchasing. I will be using it more and more as I progress (not to cheat, but in places where I get stuck and need a hint). If you are considering whether or not to buy this guide, I believe you'd do yourself a disservice if you don't buy it.

Although the book does not cover the Toy Story play-set, it does go through the Incredibles, Pirates, Monsters Inc., Cars and The Lone Ranger and includes maps for each one. There are notes about how the Wii system has variations in the play-sets but refers to the Prima site for more information. No info on how games are stored on the Wii. Some info on the Toy Box although it could have been more in depth. Series 1 power discs are covered but not series 2 or 3.

This guide is very useful and it includes the digital version. The digital version is even better as you can zoom in on maps!It covers all the release day play sets and it gives some very helpful tips for Toy Box mode. The only thing it needs (in my opinion) is a detailed map on the smaller collectable missions. It has markers on the maps for capsules and the vaults but it does not have markers for the smaller collectables (Like the flags in the MU play set).I would recommend this guide for all players :)

I would say that a guide like this is required for such a rich and full world as Disney Infinity.The guide helped us a lot, not just in discovering new areas but explained the stories and quests which were rather confusing for my kids. The maps are essentials as well as the different guides on quest progression, building your own worlds, unlocking specials and secret areas.This is a great guide and highly recommended.

This book gave my husband and I excellent information about the Disney Infinity video game. We were a little confused on what we would like to buy our daughters for Christmas, but this book has cleared that up. It clearly explains how to achieve the most out of the video game. I would buy this book again. The price was lower than anywhere else that I have found.

Great guide since I'm not a big gamer and I'm trying to help my 8 year old daughter navigate the Disney Infinity world.This is the first version which doesn't have the Toy Story world listed and since that's the main one she's interested in playing right now, I'll have to get the new edition when it comes out in February

good book. most of this stuff you can find online, but sometimes its nice to have a book in your hand to reference, and this is the book to have.

very very helpful with the new game. pictures and words to helop you through the game, my four year son can even read this book because the pictures are so detailed
