Sweet ending to the series
I just demolished this book in just a couple hours. I think the best part about Stacey Borel's book is the realistic vibe she puts out. This could have been my friends in college which made me love this even more (not the epilogue of course but you know what I mean)Wrigley and Hadley are the icing on the cake to this series. The sweetest book out of the 4 brothers with the innocence of being in college made this my favorite book. I enjoyed following along the Brooks family as they fell in love and I'm sad to see them go. ( I would like to point out that we could always have one more shot at Bree...hint hint Stacey!)

I think this was my favourite book in this series
I think this was my favourite book in this series. Wrigley and Hadley were a really cute couple. Wrigley seems like a nice guy. Brought up well and knew how to treat a girl.I did have a few complaints. There are a lot of missing words or to many words.Wrigley never really apologises properly for what he said to Livi in the pub when Hadley overheard. The things he said were harsh and honestly not what i would easily forgive and forget. This kind of irks me.Other than this i really think this is my favourite so far. I am sad that this is the final book and there will be no more of these boys π’

Good conclusion to the series, hopeful for a spinoff!
Shutout was the fourth and final book in the Core Four series by Stacy Borel.Wrigley Brooks was the youngest Brooks brother, gorgeous, fun, outgoing and was attending LSU on a baseball scholarship.Hadley Marten was quiet, shy and socially awkward. She selected LSU so she could have a fresh start and a new beginning, putting the bullying and meanness of high school behind her.Shutout was told in a singular POV, Hadley's. Wrigley and Hadley were both from the same small town in GA. They lived a few doors down from each other growing up but weren't necessarily friends. Wrigley was popular and Hadley was not. Once they were at LSU, Wrigley pursued Hadley hard; however, Hadley wanted nothing to do with him and kept pushing him away. Their relationship building and overcoming Hadley's baggage was the sole focus of the story.I was torn over Hadley. I understood her trust issues from high school - she obviously was bullied. But once Wrigley showed genuine interest and they were dating awhile, I didn't get her continued whining. I wanted to see her confidence build but we never really got to see that progression and therefore, I was craving more.I enjoyed the premise of the story; however, there were numerous editing errors, which were distracting. Otherwise, I enjoyed Borel's style. This should conclude the Core Four series. I enjoyed all four siblings, the foundation of each storyline, and the family ties that were consistent throughout each book. A potential spinoff could include Aurora/Bishop, Matt, and Chris. I look forward to seeing what comes next from Borel.

Not my favourite of the 4 books, but still cute.
This story seemed a lot more young teen romance than adult story, and didn't really seem to fit the culture or style of the other 3 books. Having said that I would still read the series again, as overall it was awesome. This one was a little more 'cutesy' than passionate, and there were more sloppy editing errors than in previous books. I do think if an author is going to charge more than a dollar or two for a Kindle book, then those types of things should be sorted out.Overall a very simple, quick and easy read.

I so wanted to love this book because I have been with this series ...
I so wanted to love this book because I have been with this series since the beginning. First off there are so many extra words that don't belong as well as many typos. It seems that this story was rushed and we don't see much in way of character development. I just feel we could have learned more about their relationship. Each scene seemed like it was just thrown in to just finish the series. I know the author is working on something else at the moment so maybe this is the reason she rushed through Wrigley's story. You don't see much from her other characters as well from this series and we love all of them. Don't get me wrong it was a good concept but it just needed that little bit extra to be a great story. it just seems like they go from being friends to boyfriend and girlfriend without all the details that we are used to from this Author. I still love Stacy Borel and will continue to read her booksIn the future as long as I feel like she won't create a story just to throw away the last in the series to start something new. We have been invested these past couple of years with these characters and I wanted to be excited but I was left disappointed.

Shutout
I was really excited to read the last installment of this series but also sad that the same time. I'm so sad to see these characters end. I loved this story of Hadley and Wrigley. Hadley was living in the past while Wrigley was finally seeing her worth. What brought them together almost tore them apart in the end, but I'm happy that everyone in this series has found their own versions of HEA

Happy endings...
I absolutely loved everyone of these books. The Brooks Brother are amazing and yes, they will forever be in my head. How cam they not, especially Wrigley? I'm a Louisiana native, a Cajun down to the bones and I loved you chose LSU for their college!

Good read
Hadley had liked and fancied Wrigley for years, but he was a typical boy and it went over his head. Hadley went to uni at KEY little knowing that her childhood friend Wrigley would be at the same uni. Things change, but Hadley thought along different kinds to Wrigley

Another good read from Stacy!
I have loved reading about the Brooks brothers and I'm totally gutted that the series is over. Loved Wrigley's book and loved the epilogue detailing how Camden, Dodger and Turner are faring but still I'm sad its all over! Hoping that Bree's book will also include these lovely guys too!

Brilliant
I absolutely love this series and completely devastated that its over. The characters are well written. I just loved Wrigley and hadleys story and literary couldn't put my kindle down. The only thing that would have made it better, is if the story was told from both POV.

A rushed out ending with a good beginning
I was really looking forward to Wrigglys story but felt a bit let down at the ending we'd spent the majority of the book reliving Hadley's love for Wriggley since she was 3 years old when they end up at the same university she no longer has anywhere to hide he claims he never knew of her attraction and she is living in the past off being the school nerd that was bullied there's a drunk scene and a break up and a summer holiday back home then it's wham bam thank you ma'am (meaning it just sort of ended with a 5 years later epilogue).
