Decent low/mid level safe
Overall, it's a pretty decent safe for the money. Here are some specific points:+ It's a biometric safe, so it opens with your programmed fingerprints. In my tests, I didn't achieve any false positives (safe opens with incorrect print), but I did experience false negatives fairly often (safe doesn't open with correct print). Not a huge deal unless you're keeping your family-protecting gun in there and need absolute reassurance of the safe opening the first time.+ It's well-constructed, but keep in mind this isn't a safe for the crown jewels. It's a budget safe, so don't expect miracles.+ It's fairly large, with 0.8 cubic feet of felt-lined storage space.+ It's got a move alarm, so if someone picks it up and tries to run off with it, the alarm will sound. However, the volume is a little low to really be a deterrent.+ It can also be unlocked with a code or the included keys.+ It includes mounting hardware and a backup power bank in case the batteries on the safe run out.- It's not fireproof; only the included fireproof bag offers fire protection.

A Bit Light, but Does the Job
If you're looking to prevent the theft of your firearms or to simply not have them able to be moved, this probably isn't the product for you. It's quite light, meaning someone could simply walk away with this and figure out opening it later, unless you managed to find a way to bolt it to the floor or something along those lines. That being said, if you're just looking for a safe place to store your firearms, for whatever reason, this will do the job. No issues with the fingerprint functionality thus far.

I don't think this is what rich people would use.
Impressive array of bolts, right? But what about the hinges? Looks to me like a single hinge at the top right is all that stands between the bad guys and your precious items. I was tempted to take a video of how easy it would be to cut the top right corner to open the whole door.I could be wrong... But I think with a handheld cordless saw and one minute, two tops, this safe will be open. Of course, it's going to make a heck of a lot of noise cutting then steel bolt, but it can be cut for sure.

IT's not bad, but understand what it is and isn't
So, if you are looking for something to securely protect the family jewels, your random gold bars, etc.,... don't use this. It's excellent for protecting your birth certificate, and various objects from your kids trying to get to them, or your cleaning person deciding to riffle thru them, but it's not going to stop someone who knows what they are doing from getting in.I do penetration testing - I found 3 basic ways I could compromise mine without damaging it; 1 via picking the backup lock (which is in one of the slightly less obvious places), one with a paperclip and a design flaw, and one by leveraging the reset function and an electrical trick. That said, it's not meant to be protecting your stuff from professionals; it's high-end for non-professional use. Mount it securely (it includes bolts) since it's small enough to pick up and take with you, otherwise, pretty easily. And, if possible, put it somewhere not obvious. (Mine's now mounted in the wall behind where my ties hang in my walk-in closet.)All that sounds pretty negative, and it shouldn't -- for what it's meant for, it's a pretty good safe; if you have it somewhere visible (and cameras with it in view), OR if you have it fairly well hidden, it will stop an amateur or opportunistic thief fairly well... Just don't rely on it to stop a professional. As security theater, it's excellent. As protection from non-experts, it's pretty good. That puts it well into the range of what most users need.

Nice size, great features
I got this because I was running out of space in my little flip lid fire safe that I use to secure documents when we are out of town and have a house sitter staying. This safe is a huge upgrade. It comes with a fire safe bag for things like passports or birth certificates, has 3 options for opening (fingerprint, combination or key), has options for floor mounting, free standing, or wall mounting, and takes AA batteries inside the door housing for fingerprint and combination operations as well as a usb battery backup unit that can be plugged in to power the unit in case the onboard batteries run out. There is a set of hooks inside the door for storing important keys, and overall this safe seems to be well constructed. It’s not too heavy and is a pretty good value for the money. I’ve got this bolted to my wall studs and it seems really secure. I’m very happy with this safe!
