Miniware First Bites Set - Nordic Lake + Gray Spoon

I love this bowl. The design is great. I did not want to use plastic, the silicon gives food a strange taste and I was hesitant to get wooden bowls due to all of the reviews that have them falling apart. But these are safe, relatively sturdy without being heavy and my son actually likes eating out of it. The suction is decent enough but also easy enough for a one year old to pull up. This and the silicon spoon are the reason for only four stars. But I plan to buy the other dish styles.

I am fighting that good fight of resisting those ugly primary color baby products. I pay a pretty penny for it usually. This bowl is no exception. Yes, it's pricey but I feel like we will be able to use it for a long time. I love that it's dishwasher safe and how the suction portion detaches from the bowl. I will say that the suction is not perfect, especially on our Tripp Trapp high chair, but I think that's inevitable.

This is a very high quality and attractive bowl and spoon set. I especially love the spoon! My son loves chewing on it. The suction is not as good as I would have hoped, but not a deal breaker.
