The LiveU Solo is an amazing piece of equipment. I use it with the Blackmagic Atem Mini Extreme which is actually not reliable. The Atem buffers often where the LiveU Solo does not. It streams consistently at around 7.8 Mbps to Youtube and can go under 1 Mbps without losing a frame or any sound. It streams perfect every time.

Lacks a lot of useful features that require more expensive upgrades. Boasts "cellular bonding" but you need to pay for their service to use it, which is $45 a month.

Its awkward in some ways, like when you make a 'Facebook Live' stream profile and want to make small changes to it, you cant.. and have to delete and recreate. Also the front panel is low quality and clunky. (not the video showing your input).Then you have to pay $50/month to use the only feature that others dont have (bonding 2 internet providers).Then, the support... I dont buy products that are not supported. I called and emailed them about an issue a week ago. I am sticking with Epiphan.. Cheaper, better, and get chat response within 1 minute.

I don't like the UI as much but it does what it needs to do. Just make sure that you purchase the bonding service because it doesn't do it out of the box. It needs its cloud bonding solution. It's like 500 a year. worth it if you consider your streaming serious. I just wish it had more support for usb modems and an auto-connect fault tolerance connection method for when your not bonding and using multiple connections.

I just bought 1 for my brother in the south pacific. Fantastic device!!! Sometime soon I'll buy 1 for me.The only 1 thing that concern me is lack of knowledge on custormer service. I call a couples of times asking help on 'graphics'. After a week or 2 no one give me an answer.

I saw the LiveU in action at TwitchCon 2018. Returned home and ordered one immediately to start IRL streaming on Twitch. So far I have had no problems streaming to Twitch using the LiveU Solo. I will be taking this unit internationally very soon and will put it through a lot! So far all my cellular modems have worked—plug and play, one Verizon modem required the latest firmware to be manually requested from support which the turnaround was very quick! The company cares about its customers. I would recommend this product to someone who is very serious about IRL streaming on Twitch.
