Therapeutic Feedback with the MMPI-2

A fantastic guide to therapists everywhere for delivering the MMPI2 results to your patients. We're trained in administering and interpreting, but the delivery is the most important aspect of the assessment. It's in that moment we either engage or alienate our patients and Dr. Richard Levak lays out an incredibly edifying method of delivery, where even frightening results can be delivered in a positive fashion. If you use the MMPI2 in your practice, this book is a MUST for you.

This book is a good resource to add to more detailed report-writing books on the MMPI-2. Our professor recommended this book to us, as it includes more positive feedback for clients (vs. pathological language) and positive strengths for main code types (spikes) that can be included in report writing.

This is an amazing resource for MMPI-2 users. Especially useful for providing feedback on submerged profiles. Don't pass it up, you won't regret it!

This book is an easy read but has so much information! It is a must have for anyone interpreting the MMPI-2. It goes through each scale and the code types and provide specifics for recommendations and feedback you can give to clients. My only suggestion would be if they included some sample profiles, which can help with illustrating validity scales.

So far, book is what I was told. Good addition to other "cookbook" MMPI-2 books, which emphasize the pathological features of clinical scale elevations.

best book on MMPI interpretation and feedback by far

Amazing! It arrived the next day and I was able to use it in practice. My clients respond so positively to the material as well. Only problem is that some two-point code types are missing, however they're very uncommon for people to obtain anyway.
