Though I havent had it long, at this point, I cant imagine not having it. Gun safety is of paramount importance especially when it comes to the loved ones you hope to protect. So, a little extra dedication in that regard can go a long way. Enter the Identilock, a trigger guard lock that can be removed with the touch of my finger (and only my finger...well, actually make that my trigger finger, middle finger, or a finger on my left hand). Since I am the only user, and there are so many different angles you can use within the print programming, it allowed me to use my imagination a bit when thinking through hand position scenarios. It has also proven to be very reliable at reading the prints. The mechanism seems to be both quicker and more reliable than my Samsung S8 which is really saying something. Somehow this lock is ahead of the print tech game. I bought the Identilock for my husband's gun because he likes to keep one easily accessible. I wanted something that would insure that the gun remained locked at all times when not in use, especially because we have kids in the house. Identilock accomplished both! It was easy to set up, storing both of our fingerprints. It is simple to put on and opens up as soon as you put your finger on the scanner. It's far more reliable than my iPhone. Since it is still new, the battery has not run low, but when it does, I won't have to replace the batteries - it has a USB-C cable to recharge.In general, GREAT safety solution, especially if you have kids!

I’ve never owned a gun, mostly out of concern that someone (a child) might get ahold of it and harm themself or others. My Identilock gives me the peace of mind that allows me to own a gun and have it accessible if needed. It always opens right away and I don’t worry about a delay if I need the weapon in a hurry (God forbid).

Does not fit sig 1911 as advertised

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased this awhile back from their own site with Veteran discount.It's a well built trigger lock. It's durable, quick and easy to use. Register up to 3 fingerprints is a plus. Rechargeable batteries last a long time. I like it a lot. It could use some improvements. Such as a tighter seal around the trigger, and have a steel plate to wrap around to make it harder to pry open.

I purchased this from the innovator's web site for one of my 1911 pistols. This product is everything it claims to be. All my firearms are stored in a gun safe so I wanted something that would provide safe storage with easy access to my firearm; the Identilock fits the bill. Set up is easy and quick but most important access to my 1911 is natural and fast. I am sufficiently pleased that I will be ordering one for my Glock.

I’ve had the GLK-A1 for over a year. Works great. Superior to any other safe storage method I’ve tried in terms of instant, reliable, safe access. Moving forward, I will have a hard time buying anything if there is not one of these made to fit.

The plastic is very flimsy. Fit on my Kimber is very loose. You can easily twist the pistol grip and flex the plastic lock to the point it looks like it will break or the gun will pop out. The worst part for me is the location of the fingerprint sensor, it is under your middle finger. It’s very difficult to draw with only two fingers on the grip. My index finger is way too short to reach. I am very disappointed in this device.
