The motor raised the running board when the door opened and lowered the board when door was closed. Return was easy. I purchased a motor from MNJWS for a few more dollars which worked properly

Dw40 definitely you will need it to take down the old motor
I installed on my 2008 navigator and works perfect no problems at all shipping was fast to I recommend this product 100%

Does not work.
The local Ford store installed this part for me, retracted board 5 or 6 times, hasn't worked since. due to illness have not been able to get back to get it replaced with another make.
