I definitely like the remote that comes with this and the fact that the camera is angled up a bit since most plugs are down low. I also preferred the case because it just looks like regular a regular ac plug. If a regular cell phone USB charger is placed/left in a high traffic area someone might just steal a nice charger, doh! Changing the resolution settings was pretty simple with use of a text file per the instructions, which can save you space/increase the recording time. The image at 1080 was super crisp and recording was smooth. Play back was simple as well and worked with Windows video player automatically. It seems the motion recording might have some long delay before it stops recording or it is very sensitive to any motion, like ghosts...Update: Using for over a month. One major glitch is the time stamp. No matter what time I put in it has been 1 hour off from the current computer time. I even tried resetting the device when plugged in, then setting time farther ahead and no luck with either.

I guess, for the price, you can't expect much more. Here are the things I don't like about it, details below.* It says HD, but it's hard to believe.* Motion blur makes it hard to know who you're looking at unless they stop and stand still.* I don't think any clandestine hidden camera should have blue and red flashing lights inside of it that are plainly visible through the side ventilation holes, especially in the dark. Having it beep a couple times whenever you turn it on doesn't help either.* There is no sound. but most of the other ones don't have sound either, supposedly because of some law.* Professional-looking, but hard to understand and incomplete instructions.* But what can you expect for something that's around fifty bucks? If it was made in the United States, it would cost a couple hundred.* Finally, it does actually work, reliably.A few details...Mediocre resolution. There is so much compression that is soon as anything in the field of view moves, it turns blurry. Probably okay for actual security use, not very good for many other clandestine purposes. For instance. At only 5 feet away, if you stand still and look straight at it, you can tell that it is you in the picture, but if you move your head slightly side to side, the face turns into a blur. Unless you have above-average lighting in the room, this effect becomes much worse.The instructions do not say anything at all about the mode of operation where you plug it in and it just starts recording. All of the instructions are about how to hook up the Wi-Fi. A bunch of incomplete instructions, but good printing and pictures. It may take several times to get it on Wi-Fi.

Doesn't stay connected camera is offline more than on..As a network engineer, I can tell you this is not a placement issue, It simply has a week signal.Camera isn't very hidden either, Wall sockets 1 foot off the floor in same room as router worked great. put it in a counter or desk outlet and the camera is obvious or get more than 20ft from router and it becomes unreliable.

The camera barcode is for a different device.....this happened twice with two different devices. Seems suspicious

Dosent work wont connect

tried to set up.. after paying 150 dollars at local spy store in my city.. called the owner of store, he says should work.. set up like he said.. nada... so 150 bucks down the drain. this was about a year ago, and needed it then.. too back just lost 150...
