Let me preface this by saying I was extremely hesitant to buy off brand filters for my fridge. I actually attempted to buy the overpriced official Samsung filter replacement (about $60 for ONE) but after weeks, my order hadn't shipped. Finally called them and they told me that that item was backordered/out of stock for approximately 6 weeks. They didn't disclose this when I called them originally (placed a phone order), so needless to say I was a bit angry and told them I didn't even want to order from them now.Decided to give these ones a go. Wasn't even sure that they would fit properly, but they DO. Water is flowing great. Popped them in and ran 4 gallons through them in under 10 minutes. Diameter and length is identical to the official Samsung filter.Water in my area has a LOT of chlorine (you can actually smell and taste it). I'm sure these off brand filters probably don't filter QUITE as well, but my drinking water doesn't smell like a pool and spent a quarter of the price I would have, so I'm happy as a clam. Will update if we have any issues with them.

Quality substitute for OEM replacement filters with sizeable savings, MIST filters virtually identical to Samsung product ( see actual comparison pictures provided by other reviewers ) . In my opinion all complainers with 1-2-3 stars where water leak mentioned either people who incapable read & follow Refrigerator Manual or seriously deprived of common sense giving reasons for poor rating such as :" filter is terrible, because after installation it didn't even turn OFF " replace filter" light "... C'mon now, how lazy or ignorant person who writes something like that could be.It's rather sad. I'm no plumber , but entire process of replacing & resetting 6 month counter (turning OFF "replace filter" light) took from me merely 5 minutes & that's INCLUDING .proper by manual, shut off water supply to fridge, changing filter, turning water back ON and running 1/2 gallon initial new filter flush finishing with light reset.And not a single drop of water or ANY leak.All in All - Great quality product and pleasant savings ))Highly Recommended.

It is was the correct replacement for my refrigerator

I have used the first filter and installed it based on their instructions and our refrigerator instruction. The red filter light came on after just 3 weeks. I thought that seemed a little too soon after the original filter (Samsung) had lasted well over 6 months without the light coming on at all. I reset the light but within a day the filter started leaking severely inside the refrigerator and flooded the entire bottom of fridge/freezer, etc. I was home and was able to remove the filter quickly to prevent the worse, but it still made a huge mess. Had I not been home this would have been disastrous. Very poor quality. Even while installed there would be a slow drip/leak from the dispenser nozzle the entire time the filter was in place. Will not be buying these again!
