Average battery for wireless charging. Did not fully charge my phone (see review)
I have an Android phone with a 5,000 mAh battery in the phone. This battery is supposed to be a 5,000 mAh battery, so I should be able to get my phone mostly charged with it.I started using the battery when my phone was at 40%. I continued to use my phone with low use functions (browsing the internet and social media - equating to about 5% total consumption) and the battery died when my phone reached 79%. While I know that wireless charging is not as efficient as wired charging, I still expected better results than I received using this battery.

Compact and lighter than others
With a long haul flight coming up, along with time in the airport, I wanted a MagSafe compatible battery pack on standby.I have another battery pack that is about twice the thickness and much heavier than this one. I like the other battery pack, just not the weight and size (and I need a few packs for the family).I really like the slim design of this pack! It reminds me of Appleâs battery pack, just a little larger. My kids donât care about the weight of the other packs, but I do.This battery pack fits in my shorts tech pocket due to its slim profile (the thicker pack is just too thick to fit in the tech pocket).I like that it has status lights to let you know how much charge is left in the pack. The magnet on this battery pack is, by far, the strongest I've come across. Not that it takes "effort" to remove the pack, but i do tug a little more than other MagSafe accessories. My only criticismâŚ.like others have mentionedâŚ.it does heat up!ESR states on their website:â To prevent overheating when charging, please avoid: â Using a phone case thicker than 2 mm.âI donât know if my phone case is a contributing factor, but the heat did get my attention.

"Pocket Powerhouse for On-the-Go Charging"
âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸ (4/5)The ESR Qi2 Certified MagSafe Battery Pack is like that friend who always has a phone charger when yours is at 1%. With 5,000mAh of juice, this thing can fully revive your iPhone, no problem. Plus, it's MagSafe, so it snaps on the back of your phone like it was made for it (because, well, it kind of was). At just 0.55 inches thick, it's slim enough to slip into your pocket without making you look like youâre carrying a brick. The fast charging is legitâ15W gets your phone back to life in no time, perfect for when youâre low on battery and patience. The USB-C cable included? A nice touch for those who still need to plug in every now and then. For $35, itâs a steal compared to pricier options that donât deliver as much. My only gripe? I wish it held just a bit more charge, but for its size and price, it gets the job done. Solid 4/5!

Great for tucking away!
This is a great battery pack - it's small and slim and can easily be tucked into a pocket or backpack. I really like that it charges wirelessly or over USB C and can charge a phone while is itself being charged.Charging speed is fine - I don't have a qi2 compatible device to test with but for my device the wireless charging speed seemed as fast as previous generation qi chargers. The battery pack is a fingerprint magnet though. The plastic looks great until you hold it and then it's all smudged and gross looking. But for an emergency backup charger, totally fine. I also wish it had a little more juice - it's really only good for a single charge on most phones these days. But again, as an emergency backup, it gets the essentials right.

Good Extra Wireless Charger To Have When Traveling
I picked up the ESR Qi2 Certified MagSafe 5,000mAh 15W Fast Charging Portable Charger to take with me on my next trip. I don't need that much extra juice, so this is a perfect size for me to carry if I need to out of the hotel and on the road. In the box, you receive the MagSafe battery and a USB-C to USB-C cable. My Pixel 7 charges perfectly fine just laying on the magsafe battery - the magnetic portion does hold on to my phone pretty well but not enough that I'd want to hold the battery upside-down with my phone attached.Overall, if you're looking for a small extra battery with MagSafe in it to wirelessly charge your phone, I'd recommend picking up the ESR Qi2 Battery Pack.
