Instabind Regular Carpet Binding (Beige)

This is a Good Quality Product. Strong. Good Neutral Color. My area rug is 20 years old and looks like new ! There was ample product to complete the project for 9x10 area with near 6 yards left over.

Very easy to install. Take your time trimming the carpet. I followed the instruction video. Some of my cuts on the carpet were not straight so you can see slight bends in the long runs.. overall, this is a great way to make a custom area rug without spending a couple grand.

This is easy to install and finishes off the edge of the carpet neatly.

I used this product to make stair treads out of a carpet remnant I had on hand. I found video instructions for how to use this product online which were very helpful. Overall, the binding process with this product went smoothly. The hardest part was getting the hot glue in smoothly between the carpet and binding. I would definitely recommend a hot glue gun with a needle tip to make your life easier with this step of the binding process. There are lots of color options to choose from so I was able to find a color that went well with my carpet. So far, I’m pleased with the product and the results, and I’m glad the application process wasn’t stressful.

This is a great product. It was so easy and the tutorial was very helpful. I used it on some extra carpet and was able to make a 4x6 ft and 4x 10ft area rugs from the one roll. The rugs look finished. This saved me a lot of money as to buy this size would cost me double the money if not more.

I think this is a good product but the adhesive was dried and flakey on particular item I received. It would not stick.

Looked fantastic, 1st time user and the hot glue was a bit of challenge for me....grant it I haven't used a glue gun in a while either!

After buying carpet and having new harwood installed, we didnt want nails going into the floor. So, instead of buying an area rug (would have cost a small fortune for a 14x25) i looked into this product, watched the videos and figured I'd give it a shot. I'm so glad I did! It turned out perfect! It is a great product, easy to use and the color was right on. It took me about 4 hours to complete a 14x25 carpet.

Product allowed me to cut large rug into two pieces and saved on costs by not employing a professional.

I used this to convert an existing fitted stair carpet into a stair runner. Although easy to use, the process did take quite some time to complete due to the length of the carpet and the need to hot glue between the edge of the carpet and the binding; I found it easiest to use a hot glue gun with a long nozzle to get into the gap and complete 6" at a time. As I was applying the binding to a carpet that had been laid for a couple of years some of the pile had naturally flattened so it was not always easy to achieve a really neat edge with the binding - would certainly work much better with new/unused carpet. Overall I think it is a good product, good value and I'm happy with the finished result. Delivery was also a lot quicker than expected.
