12-10-2020 not a paid for or exchanged for review. Owner of filling station said these are nice 30lb tanks. Sooo he filled 1st one and it didnt stop bcuz he believed the float stuck, which meant tank was overfilled that caused to let out liquid possibly a bent shaft during shipping, The other 2 filled fine. Waiting to hear from company to see how they want to handle this especially since it is filled. I wouldnt open these tanks until ready to fill bcuz of vacuum purged. No Label as in pic but packed together well & came in 2 boxes.. Shall see how company handles this. If not updated then company handled fine. 12-18-20,,, just finished my email conversations w flame king and am satisfied. I’m confident that if the auto shut off doesn’t work after their suggestions they would make it right they said. They did get back quickly with me. I’m giving them .. (update 9/14/21) the same tank w stuck float is leaking very slow and stinks anywhere I place it but outside @ nipple into tank that valve attaches to, see pic,, sent pic to flame king on Friday now tues and no response. They responded b4 pic sent, saying they would take care of this by replacement or credit item purchased 11/20 Flame King sending new tank as of 9/15/21. This is a stand up company that genuinely stand behind their product. Rating is now raised to 4 star. I hope this comforts ur purchase. 👍

I decided to build a propane fire table so we could feel safe with our friends on our porch here in Massachusetts in December. But a fire table running enough flame to keeps us warm at night consumes propane at a much faster rate than our standard propane grill. So, I bought a 2 pack of 30 lb propane tanks from Flame King. They arrived in a few days large as life in perfect condition stamped this year so I now can use them for 10 more years. I cannot exchange them for refills at, say, Home depot, but we have a local propane filling station that is happy to refill them, charging by the pound rather than by the fill as with the 20 lb tanks. They are heavier and larger than the 20 lb tanks but manageable. These tanks are well made and I would recommend them to anyone needing more capacity than the standard 20s.

Worked great but seemed pricy

Placed my order on Jan 26th 2021, received 4 days later by Fed X in excellent condition. I thought the price for the tanks was a bit pricey, but looked to be the going price anywhere that I checked, anyway made the purchase, had the tanks filled with propane, happy with everything. Tanks came in a big cardboard box, with out any damage, I was a little worried how they would travel as it was a 2,000 mile trip from point A to Point B all good. Not much else I can say they look good, seem to be heavy duty, no problem filling them with propane.

This is the perfect size for me. I use this for our propane fireplace logs when we need emergency heat or even a little extra. This came well packed and ready to be filled. I get mine filled at our Tractor Supply and didn't have any problems. It's a little heavy to lift when it's full so if you have trouble lifting you may need help.

This two-pack of propane canisters are the best value. The born date on the pair was June 2020 and I bought and received them in late September 2020, so they are legal to fill and use for a long time. Best thing about them is that they are taller but more slender than the returnable box store canisters and refilling is cheaper per gallon. Mine came unscathed in a strong cardboard box with a small bit of bubble wrap around them.

We bought these two tanks to provide propane for our shed heater. We fully expect at least 10 years of utility. DOB for these 2 tanks is Aug. 2021
