Seems Like It Will Work Well
Bought this to provide extra support for my sleeper sofa mattress and cover the bars in the frame under the mattress. It fits my queen size sleeper sofa frame perfectly. It feels sturdy but I'll have to see how my guest likes it when they arrive tomorrow. Hopefully it provides extra comfort so they can sleep well. It is pretty heavy and I had to have my husband help me maneuver it onto the frame. I then tried laying on the mattress and it seemed okay but actually sleeping on it will be a better test. I'll update after our guest leaves if we get any other feedback.

Makes for a better nights sleep
I needed to make my sofa sleeper more comfortable for visitors. Adding this under the mattress was the answer. Folds up for storage

Heavy
Only negative is this is HEAVY. Otherwise it's great for support.

Works!
My husband and I bought a purple mattress but didn’t want to buy a whole new bed frame. This has been perfect for the stability needed to not allow the mattress to fall through the frame slats. The fit was perfect for its size and didn’t weigh much to move around.

It’s a good product
This is perfect for Amazon foldable metal frame seen reviews claiming the queen size isn’t true to size of the frame but that isn’t my experience it’s a little heavy but very well made no need to worry about this one falling apart

It creates great support! 100% recommended.
We love this Under Mattress Support Board. Is very convenient, because it really provides extra support. You don’t feel the metals tubes anymore. You can really rest and sleep. We decided to use the boards vertically, because of the design of our sofa bed.Very resistant and well made.

Might work for others, but not for me.
My sleeper sofa is far from new and rarely used. A few months ago, my son-in-law complained about one of the bed's crossbars hurting his back. At the time, I considered it as "the princess and pea" incident. When I found this support board existed, I ordered it. This past weekend, my son-in-law had the privilege of testing. During the night, he moved the mattress to the floor. The next morning, he demonstrated how the horizontal slats of the board moved, becoming wavy and very uncomfortable. We agreed that if the board sat on top of or properly within the bed frame, or were laid vertically instead horizontally, it might work. We also agreed that the weight and age of the sleeper might make a difference. Children or younger people might not have a comfort problem. They might not even need the board. The board is heavy. It was too heavy for me (I'm in my eighties) to carry up from the basement to the loft of my log cabin. A visiting workman carried it up, but I noticed even he was beginning to feel the weight partway on the second flight of stairs. The board now lies behind the sofa-bed, perhaps forever.

Works better with a regular mattress
This bunkie board is well made and doesn’t have a strong smell like others. It’s very heavy about 35 lbs. The only thing is that I used it with a futon mattress (4 inches) and it was too hard for my aching joints. It will work better with a thicker mattress for a cushier feel.
