Wasn't sure what to expect because the price seemed so low, but this is actually a very good door knob.Our shop employs both genders and they use single unisex bathrooms. This provides an extra sense of safety for all.

The media could not be loaded. I installed this in the bathroom of a suite for my commercial remodel. It does not use a key to unlock from the outside. There is a slot that you can use a quarter or screwdriver to unlock the door from the outside. That is designed that way for safety incase a person is in trouble and needs help, like an ADA requirement. Before this my Schlage lock had the slot and not a key. I installed a different colored version that used a key to only realize I might not pass code on my inspection so I swapped it out for this model, which is how my other handled works.I really like the vacant/occupied function of this handle. It works really well. Either the lock or the slot will change the status. The overall quality is pretty good. I have Schlage commercial door handles and they seem more heavy duty. This felt like it was a cross between a commercial size door handle with a bit of residential build quality. However, this doesn't cost as much as the other commercial door handles. So this makes it a good value worth trying. I believe this will hold up just fine in my office setting.The installation was pretty easy. The only catch was one side had some spikes that you drive into the door or you can drill some small holes for the spikes to go into to keep it from twisting in the door hole. Normally, there is a peg that you drill a hole for in the door and that keeps it stable and in alignment.I think this is a good value that will make it easy to know when the bathrooms occupied.

I took pics right out of the box. I ordered the matte black color and love it. Friends who have come to my house love the fact that they can readily see if anyone is in the bathroom. No more knocking and listening! Although, this is not a super high-quality door lock, I think it will hold up very well over time. It is not cheap in its quality or design. These do not come with a key, so you just need to use a coin or screwdriver or some similar object. I believe that is meant for safety reasons. For this price I definitely recommend this privacy door knob (which doesn't have to be used on a bathroom alone).

I'm using this in a residential context.It's great for high volume bathrooms when entertainingcommercial feel adds a neat touchthe unit has a good heftbut my favorite part is that the locking action (and indicator) is crisp and positive, unlike so many bathroom locks[While this was sent to me for review, I take that job seriously. Getting people the wrong product is wasteful, irresponsible and a hassle for everyone.Not everything I review gets high marks]

I'm a Locksmith and I'm always looking at ways to save customers a few bucks in this economy. I put this on our shop bathroom and it's pretty nice. I like the indicator that let's you know it's occupied.I don't think it stands up to Schlage but it's a decent grade 2 lever. For a business you can't go wrong.I'm happy with this

A well-made all metal door handle. It was fairly easy to install and was straightforward and intuitive to do with all necessary hardware included. The seller’s description is good. The signage is ample and noticeable at a glance. For the price this is a good lock and handle. I am pleased.

No more knocking to see if someone is in the bathroom. Easy to install for door in either direction.
