This is the best water bottle I have ever used--and I've tried a lot over the years. The design is great for both the 32 and 18 oz bottles. I have several of each size, and I use them daily.For those reviewers commenting about the safety and recycling number "7", please check your research. Tritan plastic has been tested numerous times in the last decade (check Google for a sample) and is confirmed to be both BPA and BPS free. Tritan plastic is used by many companies for food grade products, not just Embrava. The Recycle designation of "7" is merely a catch-all meaning it doesn't fit into one of the other 6 categories--which makes sense because this is a relatively new plastic. While some plastics in this category do have BPA or BPS, not all of them do.Embrava clearly and accurately states that it is BPA free. While there may well be some other chemical threat to be identified in the future (isn't there always a new one?!), for now, this product seems to be the best I've found for the price, and much more convenient for me than glass or stainless steel.

I got this with the combo deal with the 32 ounce bottle. Both feel nice and durable, the cap feels nice and the little rubber stoppers come out easy enough to clean and both came with replacements so thats awesome. They have an attached cloth loop thing which is good for attaching to a backpack or something with one of those rock climber hoop things. I'm bad at remembering the names for things. Its a good bottle especially for the price this one is just a little small.Note the grey version has nice legible white text on the bottle whereas the blue bottle does not and its hard to read. Not a big deal but figured I'd mention.

We buy maybe two Smart Waters a year (don't like disposable plastics) and reuse our bottles for years and years. It was time to recycle them and get some reusable bottles. We now have four 18oz and two 30oz Embrava bottles and absolutely love these things. They are easy to use, don't leak (careful when cleaning not to knock out the very thin transparent gasket around the top) and don't taste plasticky. Excellent water flow without sucking, or if you want faster flow then a bit of suction pulls water as fast as you can drink. They haven't broken when dropped on ceramic tile a couple times. We live in AZ where it's over 100F for weeks and have left one in the car for a couple weeks in very high heat and still no damage, though the bit of water left in there did have the faintest whiff of a plastic-like smell. No biggie, and rinsed right out. Perfect for hiking, traveling and carrying around everywhere we go. It's true that the small ones are small for the standard car cup holder and rock while driving, but they fit better in my husband's pockets while hiking. The flip tops are awesome and each bottle comes with spare gasket thingies in case of loss of the originals. Totally recommend these.

I needed water bottles for my 5th grader to take for lunch and to keep on her desk during class. One of these fits in her lunch box. The other fits in the mesh holder on the side. The lid closes securely so it can't be opened by accident. It is easy to refill and properly seal after. The strainer works well for keeping ice from blocking the spout. The only problem some might find is the inability to remove the strap. I used to write her name on as the Sharpie kept washing off the side. Started with one. Now have three 18oz and 1 larger one. Great product!

I have purchased 4 32oz bottles and one 16oz bottle. They are amazing water bottles and everyone is impressed when they see it. The plastic top is nice and sturdy on the 32oz but appears to be more flimsy on the 16oz bottle. I feel like the latch would eventually break on the 16oz versus the 32oz. Bought the gray and white colors and they look amazing. All the perks stated about this water bottle are true. I already threw out all our contigos to be an embrava family. Now the only test it needs to go through is indurability. If it lasts over a yr or more I'd be very happy.

All the great things written here are true. And I love really cold water, so I usually stuff my water bottles with ice. The Embrava comes with an easy-to-remove "filter" just below the lid and it keeps small pieces of ice from suddenly coming out the spout. A cleaver addition and a further example of how carefully thought through the design of this item is. And they don't even mention it in their product description! (I do wish, though, that they had an intermediate size between the 18 oz and the 32 oz, like 24 oz, for example).

Fantastic bottle! I now have the 32oz and 18oz sizes. My favorite thing about the bottle is the fast flow. When I'm working out and short of breath and needing a drink asap, I don't want to have to struggle for it. Pretty much anything with a straw results in too low of a water flow during work outs. The one handed operation is also very useful. I like that the lid clicks shut upon closure but also has a flip up lid lock which I use when storing it in my bag. Some other bottles claim to be "leak proof" but they've all leaked on me somehow. This one has not. I also like the nylon strap. It is flexible and comfortable on your wrist. I find I use the strap more often than I thought I would when juggling my gym bag, water bottle and 3 children.

The Good:The best water bottle I have ever had! I am (was) constantly on the search for the perfect water bottle, and I have found it. I love the frosty pink color, the size, the handle, the lid, everything about it! I have dropped it several times and the lid remains intact, no breaking, no dents, nothing! The lid locks so I can throw it in my purse, and it pops open with one touch when unlocked. The spout is perfect too.
