Surprized and delighted...
Best smooth jazz album I've heard in years. Chris is a fine guitarist. His phrasing , riffing, and melodic sensibilities, are superb. The music is fresh, earthy, elegant, warm, and accessible. The production is spot on, in my opinion, and the arrangements give all the musicians room to breath. One of my top ten favorites now. Kudos!

Chris Standring is the best smooth jazz guitarist of the past 10 years
He's just the best. He writes all kinds of different tunes. His funky music is extremely powerful and dynamic and his beautiful cuts are masterpieces...well played but also absolutely beautiful melodies, worthy of movie scores. He's just the best.

First time I listened to this was on a sub par system, wasn't impressed. However. now that I have now that I have listened to it on a good system...it's great. Shows what a creative master Chris really is, besides being a master guitarist.

Sunlight
I'm big fan of Chris Standring, but a little underwhelmed by this album. It doesn't bring anything new to his work and even the excellent Mica Paris fails to create a spark. Chris's other fan's may disagree as it is only my opinion.
