SKS GERMANY B45 Stingray Fender Set - Ocean Blue

Quality Construction and materials
The SKS bluemel stingrays are very well made, using quality materials and solid construction. They look very nice on the bike and are very functional. I purchased these for my gravel bike in order to keep the dust and grime off my frame and away from the bottom bracket and to keep the stones and pebbles from pinging off my frame. While some dust does get past the fenders and onto the frame (I'm running 38mm wide tires so they come close to the edge of the fender) it keeps out 90% and blocks virtually all the rocks and pebbles from hitting my frame. The fenders mount up very solid and even over the roughest terrain, they hardly move at all. There is plenty of hardware included in the parts bag to adapt these fenders to many different bike setups. So as long as you have eyelets on your frame and fork for fenders you should have no trouble fitting these fenders. I needed to supply one small angle bracket for the rear bridge because the eyelet on the frame bridge was facing down rather than horizontal. Fitting the fenders is not difficult but it will take patience and some time to get a really nice result. The most difficult step is cutting the fender arms to the correct size. I set the fenders up first and then used a dremel with a cut off wheel to cut the arms to size. This saved lots of time and trouble but you can use a hacksaw to cut the arms if you don't have a dremel. You'll have to mark them and then remove them to cut if you use a hacksaw They are very well made, stainless steel (not aluminum) so they do take some work to cut.The only caution I would call to your attention is to be aware of toe overlap when running these or any fenders on some bikes. My gravel/cx bike has a fairly race orient geometry so the trail is low and the headtube angle is relatively steep. This brings the tire closer to the down tube and thus you can hit your toe when making sharp turns if you are not aware. The fender will only make this more likely if your toe clearance is already tight. Most commuter or touring bikes as well as modern gravel bikes will generally have more slack geometry so this should not be an issue for those types of bikes.Overall, this is a great product at an amazing price and the fancy colorways offered really add to the appearance and character of the bike. I highly recommend these if you want to protect your bike and yourself in wet weather or when riding off road .

Beautiful mudguards, high quality, terrible instructions
These look great installed on my bike. But: they're hard to install - you need to hacksaw the stays to get them the right length and they're not easy to cut. The instructions are terrible: you get a small piece of paper with some hard to read diagrams and a bag of random screws and bolts and assorted plastic washers with little info on what goes where.

Great product!
After spending a few days researching the different brands and models, I decided to buy these. They are great quality and one you have them set up right, you may have to make one adjustment. After that I haven't had to readjust anything. The roads here are terrible, but no screws have came loose.

Works and looks good, not an easy install.
They work well, but were a huge pain to install. I'm a pretty mechanically included guy and these took me about 3 hours to get right. And I could still fiddle with them more to get them better. The instructions are lacking when it comes to installing with disk brakes. Ultimately they look good and work as expected, you just have to be willing to spend some time to get it right.

Good choice!
They fit well and were easy to install. They went on my Specialized Crossroad 2020 model

I had a good result though
A bit too much work to trim the stays and center the fender.I had a good result though, and I like the quality and reduced weight of the set.

Works but a pain to install
They do the job but installing them is a pain, requiring an initial stay install to fit them, then removing them to cut them to length with a hacksaw. The english instructions also skip over the 'C' diagrams which led me to do things in the wrong sequence.
