The box, however, isn’t quite the same quality as both hinges were broken as were 2 of the box dividers but that doesn’t distract from the quality of the inserts themselves.The set contains 7 different lengths of M6 size insert (8mm – 25mm), 4 of M8 (15mm – 25mm), and 2 of M10 (20mm & 25mm).The inserts screw into wood very well once the correct size of pilot hole is drilled and the inserts are secure once in. These are good quality threaded inserts.

This set of varying sizes of metric Inserts come in a plastic storage box.These are for building tables etc from chipboard. You drill a pilot hole then with an Allen key (not supplied) you screw these into the wood. This gives you a secure nut that you can screw into with a bolt (not supplied).The box measures about 19.5cm long by 13.5cm wide and is 3.5cm deep.All of these have a coarse thread so should hold position securely. There is a good selection here and should suit the average DIYer. 5 stars.
