## Description

The QuicRun WP mini24 ESC supports sensorless brushless motors and brushed motors, making it compatible with most motors on the market. Its fully waterproof design ensures reliable performance in all conditions. Super internal switch-mode BEC with a switchable voltage of 6V/7.4V for use with high torque and high voltage servos. Separate programming port for easy connection of the LED program card or the LCD Pro program box to the ESC. Multiple protections, including motor lock-up protection, low-voltage cutoff protection, thermal protection, overload protection, and fail-safe (throttle signal loss protection). Allows real-time adjustment of drag brake force using the transmitter's AUX channel. Pair the QuicRun WP mini24 ESC with the QuicRun 1621SL Outer Motor to maximize performance and achieve optimal results.

Review: Great little ESC for 1/18 or 1/24 rigs - This is the second one of these that I've purchased, and both work just flawlessly with the rigs that I have. They're inexpensive, connect easily, and just plain work without a problem. I recommend them to folks looking for a quick, easy solution that doesn't cost too much.
Review: Best scx24 esc out of many - Beats furitek on foc, great product, real slow crawl and power paired with a komodo, micro komodo, and both injora viper motors

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not quite what I expected
*by B***S on May 22, 2025*

I'm using this in my somewhat heavy 3s TRX4M build. I have the Furitek 3450kv 1212 motor and had been driving it with the MoFo RC AM32 bit ESC. What I didn't like about the ESC I had before is that I could not do 100% throttle... it would not drive the motor to full RPM, so I had to reduce it to about 80% in my radio to keep it from freaking out. This worked fine, but I really wanted that extra 20% throttle, WITHOUT having to succumb to Furitek's spendy ESC. Fast Forward to now, and good ol' Hobbywing have entered the game with this little guy. One of the killer features for me is the inclusion of the adjustable drag brake. Very cool! Decent price, easy to program, tiny and made by HW, what's not to like? After about an hour of use, I can make the following observations that may impact your decision to go with this ESC: This was made to be used in RTRs. If you have a very heavy brassed out rig, or all wheel steering, this won't be great. While the BEC can be set to 7.4 volts, they used tiny 22 gauge wires for the battery, and TINSY 28 gauge wires to connect the ESC to the receiver; your servo's wires are nearly four times the size of the wires that will be ultimately delivering power to your servos. The power-in wires cannot be upgraded as they're epoxied into the case, and the wires that will power your servo go into what looks like a PH1 sized connector, smaller than you'd use to plug in an FPV camera. Tiny. The drag brake is effective, however there's PWM noise! Not sure how this is even possible when using sinusoidal motor control. The AM32 ESC was completely silent. The drag brake is strong, but the holding power brake is very weak, at least on the 1212 motor. Having the ability to change the drag brake force from a channel is great, however it still comes on suddenly, and then gradually... it never really feels consistent like it would if you were using a Fusion motor If you've used an AM32 ESC and are familiar with the programmer, some of these programming options will be familiar to you as well; basically you can allocate a portion of the throttle to be "slow" and then set up to 30% "force" to be applied while in that mode. Like the AM32, this ESC transitions from sinusoidal to normal drive mode, and there is a step you can feel as it transitions. Each ESC has its own way of manifesting the fact that it's trying to do sensored things, but is not sensored, and none are perfect. Low speed drive is Excellent. Probably a little better than the AM32, with less cogging and about equal torque. No PWM noise at low speed, only when braking, and again the brake hold ability really quite sucks. Ultimately, this is a great ESC to use in a Fun Toy Car build. If you're going for a high performance rock monster, this won't be the ESC for you. I like it because it lets me blast around in "sport mode" and ease to a stop, or crawl around in "precision mode" and lock to a dead stop; lots of flexibility if you like to tinker with your transmitter mixer settings. NOT the kind of polish I have come to expect from a HW product. This feels one tier above slapped together, and has "wait for revision two" written all over it. But for $45, it's a nice option and is much more user friendly than the MoFo RC AM32 unit. Get both and but each in their own build :) Happy RC'ing.
