Calorie MateMaple Taste'

This product is featured in a video game that I play, and so I've been interested in trying the actual product for some time now. I ordered the product when I got home on a 4 week break from my job, not expecting it to be delivered before I had to go back, but sure enough in my last few days of being home the package arrived.The seller was very nice and included a couple of other little candies in the package, that I shared with my little brother.The calorie mate itself contains two small cookie like bars individually wrapped inside the box. They're a little dry, that's just how they are. It's a nice little snack. For the delivery time, and for the condition of the product delivered to me, I'm giving it 5/5.

I originally got this for the meme but also had to try it out as an actual survival ration. The flavor is strong, and the texture is similar to a fig newton without the filling. Took them out on a hike. Two of the bars kept me going for about four hours without filling hungry, than I ate the other two. I'd say it's a really great snack ration at the very least.

I bought the Maple CalorieMate after watching a travel video on YouTube about a man who hitchhiked through Japan and used CalorieMates when he was unable to find food along the journey. He had mentioned that maple was the best flavor so I decided I wanted to experience it too. I would describe it as like the cookie part of a fig newton. It tasted good but definitely make sure you have some water on hand to eat with it as it has a crumbly type texture. I would definitely buy it again if it were easily available in stores near me. Better than a lot of our domestic meal replacement bars and a simple presentation.

The Maple flavor Calorie Mate is not bad. I think the chocolate one is by far the best, however. Maple tastes similar to a bit of maple syrup somehow turned into a cracker from an MRE. It’s not bad, but likely not something you’ll eat for fun. However - it is still a good and efficient survival food for field exercises, camping, hiking, ruck marching, etc.

They were gone and in my stomach faster than they arrived. These make an excellent healthy substitute to the snacks I usually get. Will definitely buy again. They're a little dry, but still very tasty. I recommend having something to drink with it.
