Fantastic laptop, great UI, love the small things that add up to make it great. Would highly recommend
Great Laptop. love using it. Mine was refurbished and the seller were kind enough to include Microsoft office suite and adobe photoshop and a bunch or other apps with it. very handy considering I wasn't very familiar with MacOS or its App Store and how mediocre it isThe laptop works great with macOS Sierra, however, decided to turn off Siri as it can cause a bit of slow down thats noticeable sometimes. However, everything works great. I love the Layout and UI. I almost literally can't go back to using a windows laptop.One of the seriously underrated features of MacOS and hence, this laptop, is how it already knows you if you use, say an iPhone. After signing in with my apple ID, all my old photos, iTunes purchases and app/website logins seamlessly synced over which seriously makes this easier and more convenient.I have to say, I would recommend this laptop to anyone considering trying out Apple's setup

NOT RELYABLE SELLER
1- We purchased first apple laptop it stop working and restarting automatically while we were working!!2- We changed takes few days to change, then second one also after few month start to have the same issue.3- We are company we have 5-6 laptop, We didn't work from March till 15 Aug, when we start the laptop is turn off and start to rebooting !!We contact them they didn't accept it because one years guarantee ended, I told them we want 2 other laptop, they didn't accept it. so they know this laptop had problem but they sold it.

More computing power then I need
...but rather than replacing Bill Gates offerings every year or two, quality lasts. For web surfing, emails & the like, this is like taking the Ferrari to do the weekly shop. That said, it just works. I no longer have to know all the MS prompts, or metaphorically speaking lift the bonnet & do any tweaks via Folders, sub folders, weirdly suffixed files or reams of settings. It just works! If £1500 is too much for this peace of mind then do not buy it, but do not criticise me for this reasoning, because the lack of frustration using this piece of IT is worth every penny. As for reviewing this kit for what it was designed for (multi-media, heavy processing stuff), read the reviews by people experts in their chosen field. I am a happy customer. I did retrospectively add extra RAM. I did this because after market RAM is cheap & offers a significant performance improvement when multi-tasking or videos. DO NOT buy at point of sale as Apple charge a serious premium for OEM RAM

Do not buy from this seller!!
Bought in October and had asked several times for receipt to show proof of warranty which they were reluctant to give. Noticed also a slight bent in the metal of the laptop although didn't think it would affect the laptop as it was running fine until a few months later when first using external monitor that it began to crash occasionally which is when I went to apple store and they had told me the bent in the metal had probably affected the graphics board and it would cost £500 to fix! SELLER NOT RECOMMENDED WOULD AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Brilliant Machine - well worth the money.
I've had this Macbook Pro for just over a month now and I love it. This is my first ever Apple computer and I am glad I have finally made the switch from PC's. Prior to this I've been using a Sony Vaio laptop and a Samsung netbook for personal use. I also use a powerful IBM Thinkpad for business and the Macbook beats them all!The switch to using the Mac OSX operating system was fairly painless as it is so intuitive and easy to use. As others have stated, it boots up in about 12 seconds and closes down in about 2 seconds. I used to see people on TV shows just closing the lid mid-use and think to myself, well that will cause a problem when they start up again. Well not with this. Close the lid, open it up a week or more later and it will start where you left off. Amazing! The Mac is so much a joy to use that the only downside is that I find I am wanting to go online more than ever. Everything is just so quick and easy. No more waiting for video on Youtube to buffer - just click play and it's like watching a DVD. Websites open instantly and navigating is simple and effective using the fantastic touch pad.When I first got it I realised it had no bid brand security software installed (other than Apple's own protection). I looked into buying one and then (after a bit of research) discovered I didn't need it. No viruses currently exist that target Mac's so it is secure already and no longer am I spending ages updating software. I did a lot of research to get the best deal and found it here on Amazon. Although stock seems to be very limited, I bought mine from this site for £1220 when the high street stores were (and still are) selling it for £1499! If you want a new laptop and can afford to pay the premium I would say go for this as it is worth every penny. I would give it 6 stars if they were available!

i donot do reviews normaly but i thought this laptop warrented one this the best computer i have ever owned it is so quick and easy to use i will never go back to a windows pc ever again,i am coverted to macbooks from now on and look forward to many hours with my new one

Laptop brilliant
This laptop is for me one of the best, I know that its from the mid 2010 version. but i have been looking forward to having an apple computer for a number of years.the service from this supplier was good. the only thing the big sticker on the top.
