First of all, the illustrations for this product shown on its Amazon page are deceptive because they omit the 2' wires that run between stake lights, limiting the allowable distance for placement. There's also a 4' wire between the first light and solar cell assembly. All wiring is permanently attached and it's thin enough for a lawnmower or other implement to easily slice up.The controls on the back of the solar module are pretty basic: One button is the power switch; the other cycles through 8 different operation modes. On a 6-hour charge, the lights work for 6-8 hours (or less in my case, due to the cloudy/rainy weather). They're adequately bright in complete darkness, although the low density of LEDs (not many in a given enclosure) produces a less-than-spectacular effect.I would not pay $27 for this $18 product. For that price, better decorative options are available.

I recently purchased the Christmas Solar Pathway Lights, and overall, I'm really pleased with them! The 27" lollipop design adds a festive touch to our yard, and I love the vibrant red candy cane look. The 8 different lighting modes are a fun feature, allowing us to switch things up for the holidays.However, I did have a bit of trouble with the black yard spikes. They were surprisingly difficult to push into the ground, and I honestly thought I might break them while trying. It took a lot of effort to get them secured, which was frustrating.That said, once they were in place, they looked fantastic! These lights definitely brighten up our walkway and make our home feel more festive. I would recommend them to anyone looking for charming outdoor Christmas decorations, just be prepared for a little struggle with the installation!
