This mat is PAIN and BLISS at the same time! I've never used an acupressure mat whatsoever. I would consider myself to be in excellent shape as I lift weights 6 days a week and have always worked out religiously for over 35 years. I jumped right in and bought the advanced mat. First session I did bare back and for 40 minutes. Yes at first I'm like oh my gosh this is painful as heck but in a good way. After about 13 minutes I'm literally in another zone, dimension, world and I'm out! I wake up now after 55 minutes that I set my timer for and the entire session seems like 5 minutes. I'm sleeping better and lok forward to laying on my nails before bed, love my advanced Shakti!!!

This came quickly and seems to be well put together. I purchased the mat with the "classic pillow". I use it 3-4 times a week in the evening. It relaxes my muscles and soothes minor aches/pains. It surprises me how often I fall asleep on it. The pillow feels great on my neck, bringing relief to stiffness.I think it was worth the money I paid to help me feel that much better.

Given the price, I was skeptical, but I read the reviews and decided to try it. To state the obvious, the points are very sharp, and they hurt! It only hurts for a few minutes. You will see why this mat is unique if you can get past the initial pain.The acupressure indeed releases the facia in the muscles. At around minutes 4-5, a warm, tingling feeling takes over. I started with 10 minutes and worked up to 20 minutes within the first two weeks. Now I can fall asleep on this thing. It still hurts for the first few minutes, but it is worth sticking with.My back pain has significantly reduced since I’ve started using this. I also noticed more movement in my lymphatic system. I have also experienced better sleep quality. The quality of this product is terrific as it’s handmade.Finally, my favorite part of using the Shakti mat is the life lesson it gives. Sometimes, you have to endure a small amount of pain to appreciate the pleasure it brings truly. If you can endure 3-4 minutes of pain, your body will begin to heal, and you will experience the relief that comes with it.

I have a lot of stress on my back and neck from my job and I’ve tried a lot of different things but this works the absolute best. I have to set a timer to wake me up because it knocks me out cold every single time I use it. I bought the highest level just to try out and can say it surprised me and is certainly worth every penny. My wife did not have such drastic results but said she undeniably felt way more relaxed. It definitely takes a couple of minutes until the slight discomfort fades and my whole back feels warm and incredibly relaxed. It’s a great bonus and worth more to me that they pay the workers fairly in a country notorious for poor wages and mistreating employees.

The first time I laid on this, I timed to see how long (if at all) until I got some good feelings, and after 4 minutes my body felt euphoria that, while not as strong, was in the same category as post-surgery narcotics. I was blown away at the result. Unfortunately, no other time has felt the same, although I still really enjoy it and have laid on it every day since I got it. Someone in the reviews mentioned that they feel the same relief as they do from a massage. I have not experienced the same thing, and I love a deep tissue massage. However, it is extremely effective at putting me to sleep (knocks me out in 20 minutes or less) and I hope to see long-term benefits. The quality is outstanding, truly top notch and feels very luxury. I also think it's really effective at relieving anxiety because it gives your mind a very strong physical sensation to focus on. I highly recommend this modern day bed of nails!

I was very skeptical and also very desperate. I had been suffering from Muscle Spasticity (Thats technical term for tightness and rigidity, not spasm for over 6 months and recently my Sciatic nerve also flared up. I have tried 3 different medications, percussion massage, creams and rubs, supplements, yoga stretching and an inversion table. most only helped a little temporarily, with the exception of the inversion table; which did a ton for my Sciatica by the way, but not so much for the spasticity. My success with the inversion table encouraged me to continue to seek non traditional treatments. So I bought the ShaktiMat Classic and pillow in green. So I went full bore without the shirt right away, first 2 1/2 minutes were very uncomfortable like they said but pushing through at about 3 minutes the pain went away to a mild something's going on but not sure what uncomfortableness, I started at 5 minutes and have already worked up to 20, I would say after the first couple sessions to me there is no difference between minute 5 and minute 20. Success! after just the first 2 sessions my muscles which have been hard as a rock for like 6 months loosened up tremendously, Im actually still in disbelief it worked so well and fast. It had been so long I forgot what it was like to actually feel loose and comfortable. I would add the first couple sessions were more energizing but after that they were more relaxing, in fact fell asleep in my last session and accidentally went over 20 minutes to 23, so you may want to set an audible alarm. They are sharp so keep it away from the kids and dogs. Highly recommend and definitely worth a shot.
