Very Pleased!
I've tried them all: Zyppah, Nora, chinstraps, nasal dilators, tongue stabilizers. My snoring is not severe enough to qualify for CPap, but it is bad enough to disrupt my sleep. I stumbled upon this type of solution because I like the concept of adjustable jaw alignment. I owned one previously and it was the most effective but I lost it and couldn't recall the brand so I decided to try out the Bite Guard Intelliguard Pro...Instructions are simple enough. One thing I noticed was how deep the teeth beds are. This is important because my previous device had shallow beds which made for a shallow teeth imprint and poor fit. These are deep and really make a great teeth impression and feels custom and tight so it won't slip out at night. It is also made out of a good quality plastic that doesn't appear to the kind that will stain or become frail easily. The appliance will seem large before you boil it and conform it but it does shrink down in size after and is comfortable if you are familiar with sleeping with appliances in your mouth, otherwise it will take you a little time to get used to this concept. I had braces a few years back and am still required to wear a retainer which posed a real problem for me. So now I wear the Intelliguard at night and my retainers for a few hours each day or so. This works well. The alignment of the jaw is always a concern to me. After wearing a device like this, when you awake your jaw will be out of alignment (your bite will be off). The more outward you adjust the lower jaw forward the more off it will be. Thankfully, I am able to minimize snoring using no forward adjustment at all thereby minimizing the my misalignment. It only lasts a few hours and then my teeth are back to normal but that is a trade off of pushing your jaw to reduce snoring and I don't think there is any way around that.I use a snoring app that measures (Snore Lab) the duration and intensity of my snoring and I recommend you use one also. Without a device I am usually 60-80 on a scale of 1-100, with 100 being horrible snoring. The first night I used Intellguard my score was a 6! More specifically it was 6:41 minutes of quiet, 21 min of light snoring and 1 second of loud snoring. And this is without being used to this specific appliance and trying to sleep on my back where my snoring is usually the loudest. I can ALWAYS tell the difference in sound sleep versus disrupted sleep and am happy to say my sleep this whole week has been sound.Couple of improvements... 1. My shipping was bumped a full week so that pretty much sucked but Im not sure if that was an Amazon thing or the company. 2. The click in adjustable teeth on each side need better alignment. I made the mistake of detaching the top part from the bottom part before I boiled and made teeth impressions and it was almost impossible to get one side to click back into position. It took me 20 min. 3. The link for video that you provided to me would not open anything.I am very happy with my purchase and will continue to update my review if anything changes. So far this is the best appliance I have used for reducing snoring and helping me sleep throughout the night.

Quieted snoring, and falls apart after 2 months (wearable for about 3 months with care)
Update on second one purchased (for more money) which didn't last 1 month. Even with care, it's falling apart, and DOES NOT quiet snoring as effectively as the first. Unfortunate. I'm looking elsewhere for a better product.Initial review:I initially tried the anti snoring tongue device and IntelliGuardPro mouthpiece on a whim to prevent snoring. My wife bought them for me (so she could sleep) using her Amazon account. The former didn’t work at all, then I tried IntelliGuardPro. The IntelliGuardPro did decrease my snoring to 1 night out of 10… well, for the first two months anyway. Then it started to fall apart and the mold of my teeth shifted from the solid plastic “frame”. I took some pics and hope what I’m referring to shows up. This is not a single, solid mouthpiece. It is a hard plastic frame that attaches to a soft plastic molding material.I did buy another IntelliGuardPro using my Amazon account to see if falling apart was a fluke or not. Time will tell. I called the vendor to discuss my issues, but they were funneling everything to emails and asking for a lot of information to be included - order ID, date of purchase, etc. – with the promise of a 1 day turn-around. After the lengthy customer service recording, it hangs up. Yawn.Anyway, with the purchase of the second one, I was surprised to see the price increase over 50% in 6 months. I guess business is good. The first was bought for $22.77 in December 2019 and the second one cost $35.88 in May 2020; about 6 months later. I still bought another one because it makes my wife happy not to have me snore at night. I am looking for a better, different replacement. Maybe a regular, molding mouthpiece? The soft plastic insert, while making the mouthpiece comfortable to wear, degrades with time, and broke off at the hard, plastic frame. Also, there were a couple of mornings that I woke feeling like I had braces on, making my bite (upper teeth to lower teeth) a little off. It went away as the day progressed. Now, I will say the vendor offers a generous, free IntelliGuardPro with a favorable review, when performed within a specified time limit. So, if people take advantage of that it will help offset the cost. I would have too, but it started to fall apart after 2 months, about one month outside the offer’s time limit.Lastly, the instructions. The reviews I read talked about it being too large for their mouth and the instructions not being clear. I personally didn’t have any issue with it being too large. The instructions are vague on two things: 1) what it means by hot water (Step 2); and 2) how long to leave the mouthpiece in the hot water (Step 3) as stated in the provided pamphlet. I have had success in using hot water that would be used for steeping tea. As for how long to leave it in, 90 – 120 seconds. At 120 seconds, the soft plastic was very soft and easy to bite down on; maybe a little too easy. At 75 seconds, it was too hard and doesn’t make a good mold. I hope this helps those buying. So there you have it. I only snore 1 night out of 10. The vendor is pricing themselves out of the market, with the price increase and the fact IntelliGuardPro didn’t make it past three months. If you have the money to keep buying replacements… good for you!I'm giving a 3 star review because it mostly stops the snoring. I'd give it a 1 star because it fell apart so soon.

Improved Sleep
IntelliGuardPro Review.Pros:• Length of sleep improved.• Quality of sleep improved.• BPA free plastic.• Good video on the Snoreeliminatorpro.com website showing how to mould the mouthpiece.Cons:• It took a few nights to adjust mouthpiece to the point where snoring and undiagnosed sleep apnea ceased.• After adjusting the lower half forward, sharp edges had to be filed away so as to not hurt my tongue.• It is unnatural to fall asleep with something in my mouth, thus is takes longer to fall asleep.• If my mouth falls open when lying on my side, I sometimes drool.• When breathing through my mouth while sleeping, I awake with dry mouth and lips.• I fear it will alter my teeth or the biomechanical functioning of my jaw.• No video on the Snoreeliminatorpro.com website showing why and how to adjust the mouthpiece.• The Snoreeliminatorpro.com website catalogue has nine different mouthpieces but does not indicate the differences between them or who would benefit from each one.The quality and duration of my sleep was awful, I would only sleep for a couple of hours then awake. My spouse said that I snored and would stop breathing and then start again with a gasp. Using the IntelliGurard Pro my sleep improved immensely. The length of time that I remain asleep increased by a number of hours and the quality of that sleep is much better. I awake more rested, am more mentally capable and suffer little to no lack of sleep related headaches. My spouse says that I no longer snore nor do I stop breathing and then start again with a gasp. After starting with the ItelliGuard Pro, it took several nights before I was comfortable with it and my sleep improved fully. Initially before adjusting the lower half forward, I was still snoring but to a lesser extent than usual. I adjusted the lower half forward a couple of millimetres and the snoring improved but was not eliminated. I adjusted the lower half again a couple of more millimeters forward, then the snoring ceased. After adjusting the lower half forward, sharp edges of the ridge and groove where the upper and lower halves fit together were exposed. This was disconcerting as it felt as if my tongue would be cut. I filed the sharp edged away and now the mouthpiece is comfortable in my mouth. The benefit of improved sleep by far outweighs any of the cons mentioned. I will continue to use the IntelliGuard Pro.

Good trial device
This device enabled me to test whether or not this solution would address my snoring problem. For this purpose, it was a cheaper solution than going to have something custom-made. I agree with other reviewers that it is not comfortable and too big but it works as a trial device before you go to the dentist and invest in a device.

Don't buy
I have regular mouth, at least never got a comment on it's too big or too small. The item is way too big. It's really uncomfortable to put in. It gave me sore chin already after wearing it for 5min. I can't imagine sleep with it for a whole night. It's in trash bin already.

Does help some
I’ve been using the mouthpiece for a week a now and it has had some improvement on my snoring. I do have issues with it staying in during the night and it does feel like it’s leaving my jaw out of line when i take it out after an extended period. I sleep with my mouth open and snore very badly so any change is very noticeable and there is some change for sure. I use a sleep app to track my progress and while I tend to still snore at times it has improved.

Does what I need it to do
I bought this for slightly different reasons than most. Though I do clench and grind my teeth at night, I already have an expensive night guard from the dentist for that. I sometimes snore but it's not a huge problem. I actually bought this to help with my TMJ issues because I have a slight overbite that causes my TMJ disc to displace when my back teeth touch. My expensive dental guard doesn't prevent this. That means when I clench for hours at night, my jaw joint disc is displaced for hours and the tendons in my jaw joint are stretched too far, etc, causing issues (headaches, tinnitus...). This has been going on for years (I'm 50). So the Intelliguard prevents my bite from closing all the way and my bottom jaw from sliding back, both of which prevent the TMJ disc displacement. It doesn't solve all my TMJ issues, but it relieves it for 8 hours of the day when before I had been exacerbating the problem by clenching all night. The permanent fix is several thousands of dollars of dental work. So for now I'll take the $35 night guard.A couple notes: This guard is pretty big. I don't love wearing it, but I do because the benefits. That's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Also, in the package insert, it says that this guard is NOT for people who have TMJ dysfunction. I thought that was important to note since that's what my post is about and that info is not in the product description on Amazon.
