So no, these are not super fantastic shin guards and socks. But it was also literally going to cost me as much as the set to buy one kid a pair of socks so you can really only expect so much. For what they are, they're pretty great!My 4 & 6 yo told me they want to do soccer this fall but they've never played before, we had no equipment for them, and honestly I'm skeptical that they're going to want to stick with it. If they do, we'll upgrade to better quality equipment in the future, but for a trial run at younger ages these are great. The socks are a bit on the thin side for soccer socks, but they are nice and tall, and the M(5-8) size fit both my kids. The shin guards are a moderate layer of foam covered by thin plastic with a single strap to hold them on. I wish they used two straps instead of one, but eh, it's fine, especially as the socks will go over the top of them and are tight enough that they'll help keep them in place just fine. The guards are a little wide at the ankle, so I just used my hands to bend them a few times and that seems to have fixed the issue.Overall, for younger kids these are perfectly adequate and at $15 they're a great starter set for people new to the sport.

These shin guards strap on over socks or pants. My son finds them so much more comfortable than the shin guards that are placed inside of socks. These shin guards were a great value because it came with two pairs. This is so imporant because my little guy misplaces things often. They are so easy to put on - he can do it himself! He's stayed safe in soccer wearing these!

I bought these for my 2 kids playing at the same time and they are perfect! The price and fit were great. easy to use and put on and no complaints. Would highly recommend as they are a great product for kids

I bought these for my daughter for her first year of soccer. The socks are great but the shin guards weren't. There is only one strap on the back of these and they don't stay in place. I thought given the price point I would give them a try but I should have just bought other shin guards.

I’m a youth soccer coach, it’s so great to keep these with me and have as a back up in case kids forget them. I spray them with rubbing alcohol and let them dry after every use, and they’ve held up great all season! You can’t beat the price either.

Both my boys love this shin guards. They are the perfect size for my 10 year old & 7 year old. Quick and easy to slide into their soccer socks. Love it came in a two pack.

My daughter used these for ball hockey they were exactly as described and very comfortable she has already worn them two seasons

Great for the price. If you're looking for shin guards for your young kiddos who are just starting out in soccer, these are great! Two pairs for a low price. I'd say good for ages 5 -9. They are a little wide so they may not fit on younger kids/toddlers. Good deal. I'm glad I got them.

Work well and protects my girls shins for Taekwondo. They are however, a little cheaply made.

The socks fit big and so do the shin pads. The shin pads are way too big on my kids and the straps aren't adjustable so no way to tighten them. They're also not the greatest quality and my youngest son says they're uncomfortable.
