Spyder Men's Modern

So far I really like it, but its very thin. Thinner than most soft shell jackets. It does gave that same outer soft shell outside, seems waterproof. Seems to be stitched well.I will say one thing, it fits almost perfect. Most times I get an XL jacket the sleeves are way too long, I have short "T-rex" arms . This jacket is almost perfect in length. I'm evaluating whether it's worth the price for the amount of warmth it will provide when the time comes. Its still September, but I bought early this year because I always wait and the spend forever trying to find a jacket I like.

I love this jacket from the looks to the warmth and wind resistance. I have worn it on days as cold as 20 degrees F and was fine moving from outdoors to indoors. My only complaint is that it runs small. I ordered a large and it fits very snug. If I wear long sleeves under it, it is tighter than I would prefer. Wish I would have ordered next size up. I'm 5'10" tall and weigh 200.

I just got mine today. I have always bought this brand for the cold weather. I’m 6-1 1/2 180 and the large fit perfect. It was stylish and nice. The pockets were fine but not deep . The chest one held a lot of stuff. Very very happy with it .

Great design and it makes any guy who wears it looked cool. It's like you are wearing a super-hero jacket or something. Like those X-men team uniforms if you know I mean. It certainly builds up your confidence level. The material and fabric is nice and has a good quality feel to it. It has some stretchy material also, so it gives some flexibility under armpit and elbow areas. The workmanship is very good. You can tell it is not a cheap clothing.However, the cutting is a little short for desire. The shoulder areas have little room and it is pretty short. I have other size small Spyder's jackets in my collection and I don't feel tight in them. Also, the shield is noisy. It will make sound when the fabric rubbing between your inner arms and waist area. The price is very reasonable here at Amazon, so I don't want to return it just for that shortfall. It is still a great looking and warm jacket for a chill night or a drizzle morning.

Love this soft shell jacket! It’s exactly as pictured and described. I’m also glad I got the size that fit me perfectly. I’m 5’2” and about 145lbs. I ordered the medium. Can’t wait for the winter in order to wear this!Update (12/13/2020): I've worn this jacket thru different temperatures from 29 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit in Texas. Some days with heavy rain and others sunshine. I absolutely love this jacket. When it was 29 degrees outside, I wore this, a short sleeve polo shirt under the jacket, khaki pants and a pair of cold gear base layer by Under Armour. My legs were a bit chilly but my arms and body felt at just the right temperatures. As the day warmed up to about the 50s, I unzipped the jacket to let more air thru because I started sweating with the full zip up. Once the temps hit 60s, I had to take off the jacket because I was sweating so much. On the rainy days, this jacket had enough waterproof/resistance that it NEVER got soaked. Sometimes the water would just roll off in beads of water. It was kind of neat to watch. This jacket also feels legit Spyder brand. Even if it was fake i still LOVE it!

Pretty much exactly what a jacket should do especially at such a good price. My only complaint is with the shoulders being cut so squarely, if you want this to provide maximum movement, it might not. You might strain the armpits. Also, if you're at all top heavy, the arms are going to be super snug. I actually can't wear this thing over a mid layer, but that's honestly okay. I have Kuhl for any of my more technical needs.

I bought this for my husband and he just loves loves it! It fits him perfect and he can wear it under his shop coat and it's so warm...... Definitely a Great buy!

I normally swim in a large jacket but this large seems a bit tight with just a sweater on. That being said for the cost it is very warm for light weight coat and forms to the shape of body well...
