HAC-003 Battery Replacement Compatible for Nintendo Switch 2017 Game Console HAC-001 Internal Upgrade 6000mAh Battery with DIY Repair Tool Kit

I’ve had a Switch since day one, and it was starting to lose charge a bit too quickly. This replacement gave it new life. You need some dexterity to replace the battery, but there are great videos online to help. Recommended purchase.

I am absolutely delighted with this replacement battery for my Nintendo Switch. The Switch is about 7 years old and the battery had died some time ago. I wasn’t sure how difficult it would be to change, but in the event, having watched a Youtube video, it was pretty easy, subject to the warnings below.The great thing about this battery is that it has a capacity which is about a third bigger than the original but still fits in the case easily.It does come with the tools that you need but I need to warn you that one of the screwdrivers provided with the kit isn’t good enough. I found the Switch screws to be very tight. There are two screwdrivers, one with three points and the other smaller one with four cross points. The smaller one isn’t strong enough and will round off the screws in your case back. I used my own good quality screwdriver and this coped well. You need to press firmly to get the screws out cleanly. In addition, for a successful completion of your battery change project you need to be aware that there are a myriad of different sized screws: you need to store them very carefully in order ( I used two dinner plates - one for the external screws and one for the internal screws.)Overall I think that the replacement battery kit ( with the exception of one screwdriver) is excellent. I think that the suppliers could usefully incorporate an instruction leaflet and an improved screwdriver but these omissions don’t detract from the quality and value of the battery kit, in my opinion.

Changing batteries in things used to be easy, but nowadays they're all sealed away. At least the Switch has screws, even if they ARE mad screws. (Want to do an iPhone? You'll need a hot water bottle!)This kit has almost everything. What looks to be a REALLY nice battery - it's a bit soon for me to report on the capacity, so I'm basing this on having dealt with a lot of similar pouch-style batteries - some tools and even the sticky pad thing. The tools aren't bad either - a couple of plastic prying tools and a pair of screwdrivers. The crosshead screwdriver is the smaller of the two in the photos and is OK, but the larger tri-wing screwdriver is superb and will be living in my toolbox from now on.What's missing? Instructions! You're on your own. I used the iFixit guide on YouTube, they know what they're doing (and they've been helping me open things that don't want to be opened for years now). The lack of any sort of instructions - even just a link to that video - is the only disappointing thing, and why this hasn't got 5 stars.

This is a great replacement battery. Works really well and very effective. Easy to fit and good capacity . I would recommend it

Just what my switch needed!The battery was a bit worn out and not holding a charge, easy to take the Switch apart with the supplied tools (which made it a breeze) and the Switch is now good as new.Would recommend!

It’s well made with good capacity. The reaches t battery for switch is improved to better capacity, which is allowed the console run longer playing time. To replace it, it will take some time. Just follow the instructions or YouTube video to finish the job. Nice one.
