Fantastic bit of kit, very stable so feel safe even on top rungs. There is a knack to learn for easy and quick closing down but overall really pleased. Only draw back is it was a little bigger and heavier than I’d anticipated but it is industrial quality. Would definitely recommend

The ladders are really good and we bought them as they have the step ladder capability. They fold so easily for storage however, they are heavy. We also have quite a small outdoor space so my husband found them quite awkward.

Robust, solid design, easy to store and extendable.Folds down to half it's size with locking rails and rungs.Made of aluminium, I find it quite heavy to move around though! Probably full length ladders are lighter, but more awkward to transport, that's the compromise.Be sure to keep your hands clear of the rungs when you unlock them, because the whole of the top section moves down!!I wish another strap was provided for the lower rungs for convenience, you need to grip them at the bottom rung or everything slides up!These ladders are very good and stable with the bottom strut and easy to slide and move when upright, only gripe is the heaviness, as I mentioned before.

It was a little tricky to figure out at first, but it's a fantastic ladder once you get the hang of it. Super sturdy. Great that you can climb the ladder from both sides. Bit on the heavy side but that's understandable given the height that it offers.

I have returned the ladder to Vlio and am awaiting a refund. It was not due quality concerns, but simply too heavy for the proposed users to handle.

Not sturdy at all. Put up the full length of the ladder and how much it bends and shakes is unsafe. After 2 uses as an a frame clips that’s hold the steps in place broke.

Excellent purchase to allow me to safely reach heights to trim hedges, tree etc. Not easy to expand so keep it in the expanded position, folded so that I can easily move around the garden. Well made and excellent value to stay safe. Replaces my old step ladder that was lighter but less staedy. At nearly eighty years of age you need to be safe on ladders, thats if you have to use one.

Purchased this ladder because it can be used as a straight ladder or as a step ladder. There are comments about its weight and it might benefit from a set of retractable wheels, however I don't believe that the weight is excessive and have found it to be easy to move around while painting ceilings and walls.The ladder is very sturdy, particularly as a step ladder but in my opinion it doesn't work quite as well as a staight ladder as it does tend to bow a little. I have no qualms about using it fully extended as a step ladder and have used it as a straight ladder three quarters extended, but because of teh bowing I'm not sure that I would be so comfortable using it at full extension as a straight ladder, even though I am sure it would be safe.Until you get used to the opperation it is easy to get your fingers caught when folding the ladder down as the steps only lock into place when they are extended. It would be nice if you could lock them in place when concertenered down too as it would make folding it down a little easier.That said this is a great purchase and I am very pleased with it and I would hesitate to recommend it to other people.
